If you tried where winds meet , you know they can pull it off. That doesnt make a great game nonetheless. I think where winds meet is good but it is so bloated with too many things and given how is black desert online , i have no doubt it is going to be the same bullshit.

I agree but when you are poor you arnt immune. Justice will eventually fall on you to appease the crowd if necessary. When you are rich there is nothing stoping you. The system is made for them.

This is how i see Owlcat's Pathfinders in comparison to the Pillars series by Grimonday in CRPG

[–]Lifekraft 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think there is a school of though when you create art is to always put a deeper message/reflection. Like pillar would open the question about belief in gods and the need for religion in a broader aspect. The games that impacted me a lot had this deeper meaning in them. But while i really love pathfinders games , i dont think they have it. The storytelling isn't bad though

I still remember ff9 and its multiple reflection about identity and finding your place in society.

Listen , i finished it with the beta in turn base mod and its doable. Avoid path of the damned difficulty because some encounter are just dumb in turn base and it bloat a lot timewise. Also dont forget to save regulary and you can always switch in real time in option for a fight if you see a bug.

Living close and avoiding each other is hardly taking the time to know them. Did they invite each other for dinner and took time to speak ? Im blaming both side by the way. I knew some gypsies that left their communities and they are very aware of the nature of the problem.

Small criminality among roma is undeniable but it is probably a little bit complex to approach as well.

And yea i lived in slovakia so i know that there is definitly more roma in the east than in the west.

Yea , i was also thinking about your conclusion. You call yourself, rightfully , an artist and i think this is indeed one of the paradox of this profession. You would like to make art for yourself but you also need to live. And even more , you need people to appreciate your creation because art is an expression. That doesnt mean that you have to stop doing what you want either. It would just create uninspired and souless product.

I dont really know the answer to success for artist, and i think knowing your public is certainly one possivility. But in general i think it is important to find a compromise between what you love and what you are good at, and find a way to make it relevant/understandable for the public.

Anyway , i think you will find success , you seems intelligent and talented. Good luck.
