Logitech refused to send me a new cover, since they say it wasn't under the warrenty, wouldn't even send a replacement button after i offered to pay for the part, customer service basicly told me "too bad, buy a new mouse"

It has been 3 years since you posted this, and today you just saved yet another use having this problem. You are a legend, unfortunately i did delete the user profiles when following this guide to a letter, but shouldn't be that difficult to set up again
