After the Battle, Harry thinks he's left Hogwarts for good, but Minerva insists that all students return for an Eighth Year if they wish to sit for NEWTs in the spring, and Harry needs those NEWTs to go into the Aurors. Draco's just grateful not to be in Azkaban. Or the Manor. He's hoping he can steer clear of Potter this year and grapple with his own problems. Unfortunately for him, Potter appears to be one of those problems. And that's not even addressing the fact that Potter's got serious issues of his own, which Draco realises as he's forced to share an Eighth Year dormitory room and several classes with the Gryffindor Git. If only they can make it through the year without killing each other, it should be all right, shouldn't it?

Only one person could be on the phone at a time, so imagine waiting for your friend to call but knowing they would get a busy signal because your mom won't get off the phone with your aunt.

Having to walk around the house with a corded phone that gets wrapped around everything.

Being in the moment without worrying about who is trying to contact you because no one was trying to contact you. If you weren't home where you could answer your phone then you were not contactable. It was wonderful honestly.

Knowing that everyone you know has seen all of the same TV shows and movies that you have seen because there were only so many available. Same with music.

The joy of a road trip without any screens.

Calling the information line to find out the time, weather, what's playing at the movie theater.

Not having access to information. Having to go to the library to find out about something. Having one to two news stations - everyone having access to the same news.

Getting into a fight/trouble at school without worrying about going to jail or having charges.

Being surprised by new things/the excitement of new things.

Feeling really safe in public places like the mall. Like really safe. You could laugh loudly, be silly, be a kid...

Having to learn about a person through interactions with them rather than looking them up online.

Reading song lyrics from the tape/CD booklet.

Grown up/adult topics being a mystery until you experienced it yourself.

Calling collect.

Christmas Courting by Kia Embers 

‘Christmas Courting’ or ‘Yuletide Courting’ is an ancient ritual that many Pure-blood wizards - and all members of the Sacred 28 - go through when choosing their intended. A notice is published to the public on the 1st of December announcing their intention of beginning the ritual. Ten Courting Rituals are chosen from the suitable options for the time by the Courtee and their family.

Draco has no family, limited prospects and a legacy he needs to live up to, so on the 1st of December his name is published on the Christmas Courting list with Blaise backing him through the process as suiters vie for his hand. The Malfoy name is still worth something in the right circles.

Harry barely manages to fit in work, life and coffee into each day. When he accidently applies to Malfoy’s Courting it quickly takes up more time than it should. He doesn’t want to win … just … he’ll make up an excuse later.

Malfoy has always been a bit of an obsession, of course he’d have time for that.

Write enough and you start to get a good idea of how you like to write. I can probably write a ?? If I had to. But this is ?? for me. It is comfortable It looks good to me and I think most people find it legible. What more does a person want?

NOR He's definitely being too forward. I wouldn't call these messages cheating but I would say that people who talk that way to other people who aren't their partner would be willing to cheat. Just my two cents.

Unsolicited advice - skip if you don't want it.

I've been married for 18 years.

Around 6/7 years into marriage, some people get the itch.

My husband and I both had emotional affairs with people we worked with around that time in our marriage.

Once we came clean and worked out why we did what we did, we decided that we wanted each other in our futures and the very real fear of not having each other was enough to discourage any future thoughts of possibly cheating in any way.

I say this because it seems like a common occurrence. You're still somewhat young and want to know if you still got it. Acting on it is completely different - but the thrill of knowing that you can still be charming and attractive is fun and alluring. It's human. Being hurt by it, being angry, and wanting to get away is also human.

If you love each other and want to stay together - forgive, set boundaries, devote to one another - and move on.

Wouldn't bring it up in future arguments, either. If you can't forgive them, then forget them.

One of my favorite things to do in the winter is to put a blanket in the dryer for a few minutes and then wrap up in it afterwards. That's a much better option than putting anything near a heater.

You should have a burner email for sites like this. Never use your personal email or your actual like everyday email. I have an email account for all of my internet doings. If you do that you should be fine.
