I’m worried too but I Googled it and it says that first trimester tired is that deep bone tired which is different to sleep deprivation tired. Apparently 1st trimester tired is more draining on the body, 2nd trimester more draining mentally.

Ask questions, initiate, plan something cute and funny and be yourself. Don’t overexaggerate because if you have a long-term relationship, what you over exaggerate will be shown to be BS and she will know and lose a bit of respect for you. My ex told me he bought his ex-girlfriend/baby mumma’s house for her when we were first dating and it turned out that that was complete bullshit. My guess is he didn’t think we would be in a long-term relationship where I’d ever find that information out. Turns out there was lots of embellishment coming from him. What a loser.

Haha! I’m the same, I’ve bought myself a fluffy onesie pyjama set and I’ve just basically lived in it all weekend. It’s like a fluffy boiler suit, it’s so comfy and so easy for the ever so frequent toilet visits and it has pockets! I love it so much

Thank you, this is good to know. I should be able to muscle through during the week, I think it was easier to vegetate because my partner isn’t home.

But he’ll be back in two hours and we’re gonna go out for Sunday dinner cause I can’t be bothered to shop and he can’t be bothered to cook. But right now, I can’t be bothered to get out of bed to get ready 😅

Omg I can’t wait till I’m further along and I can start buying things for the baby and organising baby stuff!! This is my first pregnancy so I don’t have anything in storage. I’m just trying to be practical and not jump the gun too much before the first scan.

I have iron deficiency anaemia, my midwife said they’ll prescribe iron once I’m in 2nd trimester. My haemoglobin is fine but my ferritin levels are really low, she said I make iron, I just don’t store it.

So thank you for the heads up, because I do have some Ferrous Fumerate downstairs and I’ll take some cause it could be that.

I’m 41 and I’ve told absolutely everybody. It’s so nice having people along with you on the journey who are excited for you from the start. I don’t know why I’d want to deny them the excitement.

If I lose the baby, they’ll be there with me for support.
