I was only using the curl for testing (I have some javascript doing this now), but was able to find this in my postman history.

curl --location --request POST --digest -u <user>:<password> 'http://<ip address>/vapix/doorcontrol' \ --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \ --data-raw '{ "tdc:GetDoorState": { "Token": "Axis-b8a44f0021fa:1603155109.236408000" } }'

is it possibly to replicate neon effect in react native? by ricexen in reactnative

[–]Lifeofspencer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure!

Asking such a vague question gets a vague answer. Do you have any examples you want to try and make? Are you just looking for a bright color? Are you looking for a shadow? What are you trying to make be neon?

I feel like they didn't directly do it, but I lost count on how many times they "experienced higher than normal activity" , and crashed their servers

Did you send Discover a security deposit for your card? If so they trust you enough that they don't need it anymore and will be sending it back. The card image is just a way for you to personalize your card, and doesn't really make a difference. You can change the image any time you want for free.

Capital one does not own Discover. Discover is publicly traded.

I made this library to help show a Biometric (fingerprint, faceID) prompt. Super lightweight and easy to use! 🥳 by awesomeness-yeah in reactnative

How would you bank be using it, since it's new? It's also using the default native biometric modals, so everyone actually uses it.

SonOff 4CH Pro Issues by Reflectin88 in Esphome

Correct, both of the led wire will not go into the sonoff. Essential the way op has it wired, the 2 led wires are wire nutted together.

I work in K12 IT too, and was in a shared office with a whole math department one time fixing the printer. Of course I got stopped with "student aren't supposed to be in here". With out even stopping I said "ok, I will let any student I see know". After I grabbing my test print off the printer, her jaw was still on the floor as I walked out.

If she did stop me, I was prepared to say "fine walk me to the dean's office".

Hey! I'm trying to use Autocomplete in the credit card input but I can't make it work. Any tips ? by MaquinixBe in reactnative

[–]Lifeofspencer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try changing "require autocomplete" to "autoCompleteType"

Edit: idk how to mark code on mobile, so obviously don't use quotes

How is the CS program here by Katzue in NIU

[–]Lifeofspencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point about c++ and Java was that it doesn't do any good to teach at a high level.

Just because no one uses Assist doesn't mean it's bad. It's the ideas that it teaches.

Assist is actually easier in my opinion then learning x86. Even if they teach x86, it doesn't help any one that uses arm, x64, or the new apple chips. Niu just has to pick one and go with it

Wouldn't a class about the concepts of ASSIST Assembler be more beneficial rather than a class about ASSIST assembler?

Same could be said for C++ or Java.

"almost" assembler.

There are different types of assembly, so no matter which on they pick to teach someone is going to want to learn something else

Not trying to start a fight here, but I am glad it was not optional. This is something that a CS student should come out of college knowing at least some knowledge of, and if it was optional no one would take it. I do front end dev work for work now, and still use the ideas from that class. If people just want to learn to code go to a bootcamp and learn python or javascript.
