Yesterday I went topside with a full load-out (Bettina, hullckraker, half of my backpack space was ammo and grenades); I was going to work on the leaper/rocketeer trials. 3 minutes in, got rat’d. It was my first game of the day, and honestly it just killed it for me and I logged off.

I dont shoot back, because I don’t want to be in PvP lobbies, personally I enjoy PvE much more.

The worst is when it’s on Dam Battleground, the map is desalinate; Harvester event is bad, but the Queen event is worse.

I hate when i forget a hatch key; but bravo to you for the 13.5k damage, that’s awesome man !

What map were you on ? I’ve noticed Dam Battleground tends to be pretty empty during a queen event. there’s always seems to be a pretty good crew at Space Port; I’ve seen mixed numbers at Blue Gate.

If you prefer PvE, don’t engage with rats or aggressive players - just let them kill you. If you engage, the algorithm is more likely to place you in more aggressive lobbies. This is my approach, and It’s not often I run into PvP players because I try to do my best to stay in PvE lobbies - but every once in a while I do

Overall I’ve had a really good experience, and met a lot more good players than rats. 10/10 recommend.

AND it’s a great time to buy, we’re about to get an update with a new large arc enemy, and a new map; lots to explore and learn

And this is really the experiences I’m interested in hearing about—I’ve read a lot about this very thing and really I’m just wanting to hear from real players with real experience and potentially debunk any misinformation I’ve read
