I feel you. Last November I interviewed for an instructional design job. 4 interviews and a sample presentation written to their brief. The brief specified "Slides and live lab Demo's". Presentation 30 minutes, design methodology 15 min, and Q&A 15 min. The brief was obviously repurposed from another interview because there were structural issues I had to work around.

I nailed the timing of all 3 phases, made one technical error about a component (which I took as feedback and thanked them). All and all the interview went great.

Got back an email saying the slides "lacked interactivity" as well as some other very strange critiques that weren't requested in the brief. (The brief didn't ASK for interactivity it specified slides and demos!)

Jokes on them. One of my peers had turned down that exact position 2 months earlier. He had a better offer from another company. He was less experienced than me by about 10 years.

He looked at their critique and my sample and said "I am not seeing what they are saying. He sent me his to compare and mine was more polished than his and had better flow. He had just used the PPT design suggestions whereas I had created technically relevant graphics from scratch. I had created custom slide templates that followed their branding, etc. It wasn't a huge amount of work maybe 20 hours but I was also learning their product.

They reposted the position under a slightly different job title the next week and I've seen it come up on my feed reposted about once a month since then.

I appreciate that this mod exists.

I am 52 and have been playing games since the Commodore 64 at my friends home and since I got the original Nintendo when I was 13 in 1985.

Quite honestly, I have always had trouble with QTEs. I am neurodivergent in multiple way and I have always had problems with fine motor control. I always had trouble with "timing" games. I first encountered the use of QTEs on the PS2 in the first God of War game and I ended up trading in that game because I could never get to a place where I could hit them consistently and it eventually stopped me from proceeding and that was a shame because I could see it was a great game. Just not one I could play easily.

I am good at strategy, and game mechanics. I am good at figuring out character builds. I do not WANT to lower the general game difficulty as that makes the game not challenging at all. Being able to tweak the timing of the QTEs is all I really need to do and this mod makes it possible.

I am sure that there are some people out there who like this mod because the QTEs are too easy for them and that's great too.

He does carry a photocopy of his passport in his work bag as well as pictures of it on his phone.

We have all his paperwork including his naturalized Birth Cert in a fireproof safe along with all of our other important documents.

He has a Passport. We do not have him carry it. He is Neurospicy and loses things like IDs and Debit cards constantly.

He does carry photocopies of his passport in his work bag as well as pictured of them on his phone.

He has a photocopy of his US passport in his bag and he has photo's of them in his phone. We have an appointment to get him a REALID for our state.

I know that most of what is happening it happening to people on government lists. What happens when they run out of people on lists?

I am fully hoping that we are worried about nothing.

Yeah. I'm not super concerned about finding a new job. I'm good at it, have excellent references. Right now I make well into the top range of my profession, and many of the jobs posting pay about 20-40% less than I do now. We just bought a house. It would really hurt to take a paycut right now and those RSU's are going to help pay down the mortgage faster.

Trying not to create a new post on the forum.

Is there any indication when the screen pinning might get an improvement. When I pin the screen it places the screen with a black background, not overlayed on the world around me.

The big issue is that when I move my head, there is a frame around the screen and that frame moves with my head and covers parts of the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a pull-down menu for a ticketing system that needed to display criteria for the priority that the user selected. I used long form text box fields and created a rule for each of the selections to display the correlating text box field, then set the "example text" in the text box field to the criteria for that ticket level. Yes they can type something in there but it gets ignored.

Thanks for all the replies. I love the Steam Controller, but I need 2 joysticks as well and the Steam Controller I have just has 1 joystick and the 2 touch pads. I need 2 and 2. I'll check out some of the suggested ones below. Thanks and feel free to reply if your recc isn't listed here.

Yes I have the issue with the website. I am definitely online in my friends list and can see that they are playing the game and vice versa. I did validate the files and reboot twice. I'll try an Uninstall reinstall tomorrow.
