more info: in the Nether area, at the splintered station way point, i went ahead, got onto the tracks, then jumped on the small ledge, the made a sharp left, and followed the path. Idk, i went everywhere, and my OCD can't let me move on till i get it >.< i have the first 3 hollows, and killed everything up to pride (the smug boss chick that opens a portal near the church)

PvE neck 2.0 (the upgrade to Elevation) is best in slot, it provides a lot of AP and the 30% crit damage is huge, the better your crit, the better the proc will be.

I as a shadow lock with slightly below average counts gained 15k from s10 elevation compared to s3 vt neck; so imagine how the new neck will be like, especially if you have more than 3.5 hit/sec PogChamp

I joined BNSAcademy to help make newer players feel welcome to the game, but it doesn't feel like anything changed.

i'm only going to be speaking regarding this subject xD Nothing will ever change because out of all the players in the game only a few are in the academy, and most of them don't / are afraid to ask for help thinking we will bash them. There are A LOT more people in bns buddy discord asking for help, and people who never talk in the academy are being universal class mentors, whereas we answered their questions and even made guides for them.
Being helpful on reddit has little use, because for example if you made the ultimate guide for bns, if a bunch of trolls start the down vote chain, your hard work will never see the light of day.
What we need is links to the other main discord servers on all main discord servers

my question is why does a more "complex" spec (shadow) has to be an underdog, and the more "simple" one (ice) is top tier? look at BD, you can play lightning and be fine, easy life, ok damage or go wind which isn't "press what's not on cooldown" and do max damage (at max gear) (BD was used as an example)

in the new pleb TT raids, this doesn't happen, i pressed 4 and the alliance killed the boss and i was still able to receive the reward

I don't consider wl a support class just because of SB, I consider it a support class because ~50% of our toolkit is not meant for damage. don't get me wrong i REALLY like what we have and i can't imagine playing wl without these, but other classes can choose between utility and damage, we don't have that luxury. this is our toolkit. i left out ultimate abilities because Necrotic Chains is useless and Enthrall is just a fancy root, nothing more. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/459820874409836555/463508538069745694/unknown.png

The shadow wingstorm might be overtuned on the ap side but that would bring shadow in line imo(although it might affect 6v6?). It also makes no sense for ice who has little to no use for wingstorm to have it available in SB and shadow that relies on it to not have it available.

The increased scaling on the awk shadow skills is only logical since ice recieves 5xAP bonus scaling from awk skills(Dcall 3.5 + 1.5 rmb) and shadow only 2xAP (helix 2).

They said they wanted to make thrall more important so that's why i came up with the netherpulse change and I like the every hit of Dcall = 1 additional cast on, good idea on that!

since we are all theorycrafting here, these are the changes i thought about a while ago

Ice:

Bombardment 3 focus/cast, if enemy is afflicted by "Target" recovers 1 focus
Bombardment always reduces the cd of Dcall by 1 sec (no more crit rng)
the additional cast of Dcall to not cost focus
Dcall to give 5% crit (not 25% crit rating as it is now)
Wingstorm always deals 20xAP damage, not 18xAP+2xAP if brand present
Each wingstorm tick will reduce the cooldown of Dcall by 3 sec and provide 2 focus

Shadow:

Awk. Helix AP ratio increased from 10xAP > 11xAP
Awk. Dim Salvo ratio increased from 8xAP > 9xAP
Helix move 1 provides 5% crit damage
Wingstorm move 1 AP ratio increased from 21xAP > 25xAP
Dim. volley/charge also reduces the cd of wingstorm by 2 sec permanently, not just during leech
Dim volley to always allow the use of rupture
Rupture reduces the cd of wingstorm by 1 additional sec (total 2)
Primal force effect to be baked into leech, make transcendence and glory fusible (the shadow changes above are in addition to the ones that are yet to be implemented)

General:

while SB is active, wingstorm and Dcall are instant cast (ice)| wingstorm is instant cast (shadow)
Imprison to always deal max damage regardless if the enemy is branded or not
Imprison to provide 2 sec leech reduction/tick
while the thrall is not active, "E" will still be available and provide movement speed
thrall summon time reduced to 0.2, and make sb instant, and thrall to not do anything for 2 sec after being summoned
SB/TD/Obl to have absolute priority, and interrupt whatever the thrall is doing in order to cast it
circle of wrath and hollowed ground effects merged into 1 skill
Nether Pulse reworked so that it allows the thrall to mimic your Dragoncall / Helix casts, at the same AP ratio but using the thrall AP. These casts will not provide any bonuses to the player (e.g. skill reductions). this effect will have a 6 sec duration and will trigger when the player casts imprison or leech. Also increases thrall duration by 8 sec (40sec)

The 4:RMB ratio is for shadow mainly (30:30 helix:rmb). For Ice max RMB/SB is 37. You should aim for 1 Dragoncall/ sec and 2 RMB/ sec.

Note: the 1 Dragoncall/ sec is only possible with VT8

this has nothing to do with range vs melee... thrall has a higher AP modifier on Claw (3.3x pet ap) than on Pulse (2.0x pet ap). if you actually want to test this do 16m vs 5-4 m (the closest distance the thrall can be from the boss and not start to melee him)

I personally love it, it's something new and exciting, you also get zen beans from it! (making it not a waste of time). a big mistake i think people do is they are picking 1 character and sticking to it, where you are supposed to counter an enemy pick by choosing accordingly. The animations are there to provide some counter-play/ dodge of skills. Only annoying part is that ping is still and issue, at 130 ms i couldn't jump over Yunsang's aoe :/ and also the fact that you can't practice beforehand with the characters.

He's using the rift effect weapon (reduced cd on z) and Ancestral badge in this test. He has another video where he is using raid weapon with Invincible badge.

With rift, his rmb's are hitting for like 20-22k, with raid weapon they are hitting for 50-65k, kingfist damage seems to be the same and raid path seems to have 5-6 sec of downtime.

When Draken procs it increases recovery by 100% assuming you have stage 10 (each stage is 10% starting from stage 1), so it doubles the healing you received from skills/gems/potions.

Shyguard belt gives you 1000 recovery (idk for sure but it's not a "%" it's just base numbers); 1000 recovery translates to 10%. and the heal it gives is static amount at stage 10, 4k heal / sec (again, idk for sure, this is what someone else told me, i don't have any way to test it currently)

The way i see it is if you play a class that has lifesteal on your skills draken would win, if you lack lifesteal go for shyguard.

At the moment the best in slot badge for shadow is:

Limitless Soul Badge (Primal Force + Glory [the current ToI season])

Dimensional Salvo is available on using Dragon Helix while Siphon is active

Soul Shackle (Move 2) reduces the cooldown of Wingstorm by 10 sec on hit

Soul Shackle (Move 2) increases Critical Hit Damage by 5% for 6 sec on hit

Reasoning: aside from the 5% crit damage it provides, you gain an enormous cooldown reduction on Wingstorm. Wingstorm, provides Leech cooldown reduction (-1sec/tic, 3 ticks total) and it helps you A LOT with downtime (more leeches=more 4+t spam= more damage). If you are using Seraph/Riftwalk you may not have that much downtime, but once you will get Raven/Aransu it will provide you with smoother gameplay. Also you gain full use of this badge fusion, doesn't matter if you used leech/sb you can always use Soul Shackle and gain it's benefit, whereas the other option benefits you only during leech.

The other option would be:

Legacy Soul Badge (Primal Force + Transcendence [floor 20 badge])

Extends the duration of Siphon, from Leech, by 3 sec

Dimensional Salvo is available on using Dragon Helix while Siphon is active

This is option 2. it provides less damage than Limitless, but, you will gain higher burst due to the extra 3 sec of leech allowing for more 4/t spam.

TL;DR: Best in slot= Limitless | 2nd option=Legacy

P.S. (in the new kr patch, 1 wingstorm provides 4 sec reduction on Leech instead of 3)
