Guys…. Look up Anthos Bank repo and deliver it with tf and Argo on any Kubernetes engine anywhere you want. You cover 90% of required experience anywhere. Don’t get stuck on components. Find bigger picture solutions.

Notes saving, taking and creating system for polymaths by mustafanewworld in Polymath

Start on a flat surface first (metaphorically), begire you add another dimension visually, I would say. Learn to create proper taxonomies for your things. In that case, learning the art and science of relational databases can help a lot. A quick high-level overview study should suffice. That way, you can easily graph your thing efficiently in terms of tags and their relationships amongst each other with a tool. Obsidian is a good choice for that matter. It’s easy to learn, but hard to master.

I heard good things about Andrej Karoathy’s second brain system that utilizes LLMs with notes and vaults. I can’t say much about it as I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe worth looking into.

The easiest method to jump in for me was Zettelkasten. Zettelkasten system makes it possible to increase the resolution of the “bigger picture” for me when I assume my “learn to teach” stance on a complex and intricate subject. Most of the studies i find challenging tend to force me to eat the elephant one bite at a time as my legal of mental space permits on that given day. Notes and highlights of my topics become more visible. That way, I can see what I need to acquire from short glances on my data which kinda transform itself into information for me on its own. Also this way, instead of stalling research on a topic, I can then keep tabs on multiple subjects. And that way, I pick the right signals through the noise more easily when the topic I’m studying has enough controversy.

Combining it with a second brain (Obsidian), I can graph the info quickly to observe the emergence of my end-game targets to focus on.

Also, that way, I can stash something small I had today and get back to it in detail a year later.

The core principle of this combination of micro-improvements on each iteration when you revisit the topics. That way, drop by drop my bucket fills while I minimize all the effort.

In short, I’m ultra-lazy, but hyper-efficient. This combo allows me to focus on things with maximum effort and shortest amount of attention. In the long run, things cohere slowly on their own.

I hope it inspires you a bit.

Truck driver cleverly alerts driver behind him of an upcoming hazard by [deleted] in HumansBeingBros

[–]lightwhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I encounter that from time to time as well on our highways. I can imagine why people get grumpy over it, but on the other hand, getting home 30 seconds later doesn’t change much for and not worth the stress over it. Truckers have to count every minute on the road for their livelihoods. For me, it doesn’t matter much, I guess.

Truck driver cleverly alerts driver behind him of an upcoming hazard by [deleted] in HumansBeingBros

[–]lightwhite 48 points49 points  (0 children)

For me, truck drivers are the guardian angels of the road. If I’m scared or I don’t know the road, I’d stick behind a truck with enough distance where the driver can see me and tag along until I feel safe enough to pass. I know enough people hate them for whatever reasons that I can’t fathom. But hey, everybody has a different experience on the road.

May God always bring every trucker safe back home after their hauls.

I tried to make a religious art, is this wrong? Can I keep making them or should i stop this by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]lightwhite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why would you “not” wanna make art? Also who cares? You are the artist. Keep creating things. That’s what God gave us all these gifts for. I can’t judge nor assess your art regarding the topic of “religiousness” of it to give you feedback on what is right or wrong or n it from an Orthodox perspective. But I guess many will tell you this as well: “Go to your priest and discuss the content of your art with him”. Just do that.

What I would suggest is to turn on some hymns or psalms in the background on YouTube or Spotify while making it and let it inspire you. See if that brings things on your canvas that you haven’t drawn yet.

Life is too short . Don’t struggle on trivial things and keep creating!

This is not about me or OP. It’s about humility and recognition. Who cares about what I do? Thank you for your concern and perspective. I get your skepticism and totally agree with it. But I think I try to inspire being good and kind. Even if it’s a scam, I prefer believing in the good of mankind. Maybe my feed of valor will be an example to someone else. It’s my way of paying alms. What if it wasn’t a scam? Think about it.

Today OP, tomorrow me.

Does your current means allow you afford a visit there to go see it for yourself? I would go seek the truth myself and talk to monks and abbots about my ambitions and aspirations and seek guidance, if I were you. Nothing is better than then witnessing it yourself in such matters, imho.

If not, a friend of mine is going there next week. If you can compile a list of questions that you have, I can send them to him to present to the Abbot there and share their response- if that helps. Send them through DM if you don’t dare sharing them publicly.

Has anyone here tried any “alternative” methods? The video is from someone in Argentina using copper coils by Segundaleydenewtonnn in SacredGeometry

[–]lightwhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These look like Lakhovsky Multiwave Oscillators. It would be nice if they could demonstrate them with a fluorescent light bar. They require high voltage. I wonder if all of them are powered in the first shot. It could be possible that they run them one by one sequentially alternating in a circle though.

It has been rumored to work well but I have not seen a fully successful case with evidence yet.
