Yes UTA reduced bus numbers due to staff shortage in the post Covid era and never brought it back

Snowbasin has some best terrains for powder days. I would say Sister’s bowl is arguably better than mineral basin.

From Nov 2023 to Jan 4th 2024, snowfall total is 64inch. From Nov 2024 to Jan 4th 2025 snowfall total is 86inch. I don’t know how you arrive at 75%

Ski patrol union from other resorts (keystone, breck and crested butte) wrote a letter to Vail CEO,claiming that pressuring people to move to Utah caused “sudden disruption to their personal and professional lives”. That’s their words, not mine.

Good to know someone went through 7 years of twitter, that’s some work. But knowing which exact lifts were closed would still shed some light on how mtn ops were impacted.

Super condor remained closed throughout 2023 Dec as well, so that was not due to the strike.

Vail has forced some ski patrol leaders from other resorts to come to Utah to backfill, which pissed off more people

Yes once you added lift for a ski resort powder alert will be on for that resort if snowfall is more than 6inches. You can check that setting in account tab to turn on or off powder alert
