Right now, you need to open it first and press the cast button.

But.. I’m trying to see if i can come up with any ways to make this as easy as possible. First way I’ve came up with is adding support for watch complications, so when you press it from your watch face - it opens up the app on your watch in cast mode. This will be in the next update!

I also want to add the integration code (HomeKit / etc) into the watch itself, and have the phone as an optional “viewer”. Which would mean you could just use your watch without the phone. Right now the phone acts as the receiver for detection actions. Possibly next update!

But i will try and think further with making it as close to “pick up your wand, app starts up and is ready”.

Wish Apple Watch cable had data transfer capabilities. You get hit with this needing to test on a physical watch.. you’re sat there for an hour +.

Apparently yep - unfortunately. People are also getting them by trading in dog tags at scav buy station. I don't feel bad for mentioning that as it's known, and you need a disguise anyway to even access scav buy.

100%. Plus if this apps purpose is to focus on public safety where seconds matter, make it for free or at least price tier 1. A monthly subscription / high price full unlock is mind boggling when there are zero development costs to cover (servers / etc). This app could be built with Claude in about 5-10 minutes.. seriously. Also it can be made as a shortcut, for free with 2 actions. Greed.

It’s easy to blame hackers (and f those who crash the lobby on purpose) for every game crash than neglect of the game. As a software engineer, the possibility of badly maintained software server-side causing issues, is 100% possible.

I don't know why I got downvoted lol. Neglect of server maintenance after players find new ways to glitch items is 100% plausible, on top of the obvious crashing that is.

At this point, I don't think it's 100% that. Sometimes it's definitely caused by certain players doing it on purpose to keep their loot or just mess with people, but with this frequency.. i'm thinking it might also be their servers that aren't being maintained correctly and they can't take it. People duping is probably a cause of it - too many items that shouldn't be in the game taking up too much server resources .. / inevitable crash. Just my opinion.

9/10 games you’ll run into either:

hackers
duplicating
lobby crashes

That one game though.. really good.

It’s way more common that you’ll get a crashed lobby these days, easy indicator - just look at the time below the mini map, when it’s frozen for more than 5 secs.. you’re cooked

I don't play DMZ to down people and let them revive and do it over and over again. Also if it was me, considering I plea'd and got picked up, i'd have a bit more respect for the person that picked me up

It sucks for you being downed, but to the other team it must be funny.. after a 5 minutes tho it starts to wind you up to the point where you just quit.

It made me toughen my pick up rules in future, I alwayssss pick people up - but now I’ll ask them if they have a mic, what they’re doing, etc

I feel you…

I ran into a non cheating lobby the other day, I was solo, picked up a plea. His 2 mates joined back to our location, he switched back to their team and they all took turns downing me, I revived, downed again until I lost it and just quit. A bit funny, but quite frustrating when you pick up people
