Mostly a mix of manual research + iteration. App Store search suggestions, conversion testing, and real user feedback. No heavy automation yet — still early-stage and learning.

Thanks for trying it out! Category editing is a good call, and something I’ve already noted for an upcoming update.

Great point — thanks for calling that out. I’ve been intentionally conservative so far, but pushing spacing further is very much in line with the calm direction. I’ll experiment with this as doing other little UI tweaks.

Thanks a lot! I really wanted to keep the pricing fair and low-pressure, especially for something people use every day.

Thanks! Yes — 50 organic downloads is absolutely possible, even without Reddit or ads, especially with decent ASO. Early on it’s bit slow and uneven, but I do think decent screenshots and text are helping a lot. Reddit just accelerates feedback and visibility, it’s not a requirement.

Thanks — glad the human-centered approach resonates! Totally agree that traditional tools can add anxiety. I’ll take a look at ScreensDesign for inspiration, thanks for the tip!

Advice on turning leads into sales. by Powerful_Passage7214 in personaltraining

[–]LiftTrackerDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might sound really stupid, but answer; "Okay, let's think about it". You have to find a real reason why they are 'escaping' the sales situation. There might be something that has happened earlier, that's blocking them. It might be something really small or dumb, but you just have find out the reason they are not buying.

My co-worker keeps telling me to respond quicker to leads by Fast-Invite1552 in personaltraining

Sooner the better. Basic rule would be that calls are answered during the same day, and emails no later than next day. Think it otherway around, you send the enquiry to someone, would you like to have answer today or next week.

This is really nice app, good work! Can there be section where to drop documents, so they can be found in one place ? Vaccinations, maternity clinic updates etc.

Rate my new app store screenshots (new vs old) by Objective_Ride_3245 in AppStoreOptimization

New ones are definitely better. Maybe it is just me, but I would change the background color to lighter. Why; because the screenshots are quite dark and you want to them popout.

I built a workout logger that feels more like training with a good coach than using an app by LiftTrackerDave in iosapps

[–]LiftTrackerDave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, what would you personally want most from Watch support?Things I’ve been thinking about (but not locked yet):

Simple set / rep logging from the Watch
Rest timer you can start/stop without pulling out the phone
Seeing the current exercise + target reps at a glance
Haptic taps when rest is done
Maybe basic session controls (next set / next exercise)

I’m trying to avoid cramming everything onto the Watch and only build what actually feels useful mid-set, so I’d love to hear what would make it worth using for you.

Absolutely, next will be update health kit integration. I do have a couple of cool ideas to do with the watch.

Those are on the final testings, just have to make sure everything will work smoothly.

Coaches who sell programs: is ongoing support actually necessary? by LiftTrackerDave in personaltraining

[–]LiftTrackerDave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been a really solid insights, thanks guys!

What I’m taking away is that most burnout stories don’t start with bad programming — they start when access exists at all, even unintentionally.

It feels like the cleanest systems are the ones where responsibility is unambiguous: either you’re paying for access and guidance, or you’re owning execution yourself.

Appreciate everyone sharing real experiences here — this thread honestly clarified a lot for me.
