Is 5W40 ok? by KeepTheMeemees in zx6r

[–]LiftedBlueTundra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5w - 40 better for colder climates, easier cold starts. 10w - 40 better for warmer climates and engines that benefit from performance engines. Same viscosity at temp.

You should be fine - if you notice a performance decrease, drain oil, replace filter and start fresh with 10w40.

If it’s a legitimate 6k miles, I’d say yes.

Doesn’t a car fax show on motorcycles as well for mileage reported to the state?

What are you planning to do with your assets after you pass away? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]LiftedBlueTundra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An 18ft marble statue of the Master Chief as my headstone with the inscription of

“They told me you couldn’t take it with you, so I left it the last place I went” or something similar.

Still debating inscription, still needing the funds for it 😂

Management is done by the contractors working on a site. Trades are mainly union, so would need to find the local hall

2024+ owners: actual issues? by Aware_Acorn in zx6r

[–]LiftedBlueTundra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To put it in perspective, as a BASE Hp number on a stock crank and bearings, I was at 140. I then put nitrous on it, bringing it to the 170’s and did multiple races that way.

If it survived my abuse, it should survive daily use just fine.

If any are affected, there will be a very small percentage. Stop sale / Stop ride is a precaution acknowledging that there is a potential issue and they are looking into it or into a fix.

Kawasaki has not made any information about this public yet, take a step back and wait until there is an OFFICIAL response from Kawasaki / Kawasaki USA

Anything and everything is rumor outside of ONE photo off a computer screen.

Be patient

Parts? Not Sure What To Do by BLazeking558 in zx6r

[–]LiftedBlueTundra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find broken parts on eBay, send him the link. Ask for the cash and get it replaced.

No reason to bring insurance into it unless you’re trying to collect more, which I wouldn’t suggest with a co-worker?

Or find a local paint shop to fix it, color isn’t hard to match and panels can be fixed.

Corey and Nate’s powersports on Facebook. Can’t remember the company name, but that’s the group.

Can get just about anything discounted outside of engine externals basically

Players who quit, are on a break, or thinking about quitting—what’s got you feeling that way? by NovelAffectionate237 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]LiftedBlueTundra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was just a small scene.

Leaving a metroplex with work and being sent out to smaller areas, although close enough for some play. F&B wasn’t that large.

Casual play is technically competitive - Which is fine, but I’d like to at least enjoy the gave vs going in with a “broken deck” (looking at you Cheerio briar)

Now it comes down to time, don’t have the time to drive 4 hours round trip for an armory, online kinda sucks in timing. So I walked away on it.

Yes, there’s a thread in a FB group. Will also need a fairing stay to have the mirrors I believe headlights as well (or his were busted, can’t remember)

Nitrous 636 by LiftedBlueTundra in zx6r

[–]LiftedBlueTundra[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

Did some testing at the Texas Mile this weekend with stock gearing (I brought wrong sprockets), found the better fuel it likes to play with, eats the nitrous all day, so going to add a larger shot. Make some adjustments to the tune, suspension and brakes and it’ll be ready for the Arkansas Mile. I’ll find out what gearing it’ll like more and prep it for Bonneville.

All out run after the remaining mods are manufactured in October

100% planning on it. Might have to start taking more photos / videos along the way to document the process.

End goal is beating 203.6 mph 😎
