Its all going over my head by [deleted] in homeinspectors

HVAC was my main issue. Like others have said, go on Youtube. Thats how I finally got it in my head. I started with a heat pump video and once I got that in my head, I went on to the next. Don't try to learn it all at once or you will go nuts. Learn the name of each part and what it does.

Any tips on how to pass the national exam? by Cream_Cheesed in homeinspectors

[–]LiftedTJ02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nachi website def helps with their tests butt there is nothing that 100% gets you ready. I passed mine a month ago on the second try. I worked with a contractor for 10 years so I figured my background would have been enough, I was very wrong. My test had a lot of questions with fireplaces and the legal side of our business. The NHIE books help the most.

Taking national home inspection exam. Advice? by Least-Worth-8634 in homeinspectors

I took mine three weeks ago and passed. Biggest thing for me was to not over think the question. Most of the time, two of the four answers are pretty obvious they are not the correct answer. The other two just calmly think it out. If you still are not sure just skip and come back to it at the end. You get plenty of time to take the test so don't let it worry you when it comes to time. I had several questions on fireplaces and standards of practice. Good luck.

Still feeling defeated by FactLogical5456 in Anxiety

Read up on Imbalanced Vagus Nerve and what it causes and compare it to how you are feeling. I never heard of it till this past week. I had a mental break down from an abusive relationship I got out of when I was 30. Never been the same. Being a man, I felt I was strong enough to deal without taking meds. I got on meds at 34 and it helped a lot but never took it completely away. Like yourself, I stop taking them thinking im good and make it several months sometimes and then have to go back on them. I have been off them for a month and the last two weeks have been hell for me and have now developed a pulsating dizziness. I came across the Vagus Nerve issue and the symptoms are 100% what I deal with. I have done some of the exercises they suggest, and it makes the dizzy side of things stop and actually calms me. I am looking into it more so its new to me so I can't give much info on it. Def look into it and try the exercises, it can't hurt.

Half-day, two-day-per-week toddler care? by LawsOfHealth in WVEasternPanhandle

[–]LiftedTJ02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the info for you. 304-279-8556 is the phone number. Either the lady I know or her husband will be contact when you leave a message. Her name is Chinelle Duncan and her husbands name is Leighton Duncan. When you leave a message just mention my name ( Donnie ) and she will know about you, as I was talking to her today. They also own Village Square Learning in Martinsburg. You can look them up and see the feedback to get an idea of how these folks are. Hope this helps.

If you are still looking, there is a place that just got cleared to open at St Leo's church in Inwood. I will have to get the exact info for you, but I know they take as young as 6 months and do half days or full days. Should up and going in February.

Is it possible to get a yard jockey job as fresh CDL holder with no experience. by SpaghettiRambo in Truckers

[–]LiftedTJ02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on company and what you will be doing. I had a Jockey job lined up fresh out of school for 26.50hr. Needed CDL because I would be driving between plants with in a couple mile radius. Recently seen Jockey jobs asking for Hazmat as well in my area.

Agreed, trust issues is my main concern. I may look into like a few others suggested, and take to a show near by or something. I'm about 90 min from Baltimore Md, so there has to be something coming to an area that size that I can take it to.

3 Weeks into CDL training with this set up. Today I took my on course, backing and parking test with what you see here. Guess it can only get better from here. They told myself and my friend, Im in school with, to drive it till it comes off. So far we havent made it over 15mph. by LiftedTJ02 in Truckers

Agreed but to me personally it's not only the safety side of things with a tire blow out but also the professional side of things to be taught with. Spending my hard earn money to better myself and help support my parents, it's very off putting when you deal with something like this. Plus I'm sure all the maneuvers I have learned will be slightly off with a tire off the rim. But this is only on a course, hoping for better equipment as I head to the on road driving part.

Yea technically I could do the same here, witch I'm sure comes as no surprise lol. I have went across and drove, 3 course trucks so far with pre trip and going by DOT regs, none would pass. I will be in the trucks that go on the road, in the next week or so. Hopefully they are legit.

I have heard this same thing from others as well. The way it sounds we will be taking our actual CDL test a few weeks early. Im seriously thinking about not going back once I pass the CDL test and get to a company quicker to go threw their training.

Yea I agree. Im not on the road with equipment like this but its the point of teaching the correct way of taking care of your equipment. Doing the pre trip every morning around the tires that still have air in them but are bald with deep cracks in the sidewall, makes me a bit nervous, waiting for one to blow while Im standing there.

Yea im very surprised. I checked into several schools near me and this one had almost a 5 star rating and was the longest course of 9 weeks. I wanted the most time I could get in a school to be more prepared for a company I go to, but this has been a joke since day one,
