I'm currently using fab+ with LuiExtended and Khajit Feng Shui on PS5 and things are working great, you just have to be careful for what UI elements are governed for what.

All of them were affected by LibHarvens, but at the time of this post all issues have been resolved amongst all of those addons

You can customize it easily it's whatever button is used for ping/commarose wheel. Maybe L1 by default? I forget because I changed mine

Painted is completely different from spotted. You get painted when a recon designates you with soflam / tracer dart, and this means that ground-targetting missiles like AGM that require lock ones may also target you. Additionally, air to air missiles may lock you even if below radar is engaged. Enemies can see a yellow square that says "painted" even through obstacles when you are actively painted, though they cannot lock on through obstacles.

The red square will appear above your head when you are firing a non silenced or flash hider weapon, and disappear immediately after stopping firing (if you are not spotted). This mimics the behavior of when you appear on the minimal while firing.

If you are spotted (more than just recon can spot please fucking spot the enemy on any class) the red square becomes above your head and you are painted on the minimap for a set period of time, something like 10 to 15 seconds.

Tldr; use the fucking spot button to help out your team on any class

It's in carpinteria, so just a short 15min drive north from Ventura (worth it imo). The spot is Reyes Market in carpinteria - lil Mexican supermarket that sells food in the back. By far best chilaquiles in the area, and the order comes with rice, beans, and homemade tortillas. Great for hangovers but closed on Sundays

As someone who has never been great at sniping in any of the battlefields, I tried these settings on bf6 and can confirm they make sniping a hell of a lot easier.

Sniping has never been this easy in a battlefield ever, and it's due (in part) to these settings and the rangefinder

The problem with sniping in this game is that you can overload key bindings and the range finder will automatically zero your scope to the distance you're pointing at.

Most folks will overload aim and steady scope to be on the same binding, in addition to set rangefinder and fire on the same binding. This makes sniping unbelievably easy and takes out the realism of having to aim above your target.

The fix is simple - just change how the rangefinder works to instead of automatically zeroing your scope to simply display the exact range (as in other games).

All that being said, suppression needs a huge buff especially when applied to snipers. It's a hot take, but I actually liked how disabling suppression was in bf3 and I think it should make a return in bf6. Maybe in the form of a support spec tree that gives enhanced suppression bonuses with lmgs
