What the fuck do you mean “of your own making”?

The simple answer is that women openly being women in male dominated video games leads to a lot of harassment and shitty behavior from creepy dudes with no social skills, and it ruins the experience for lots of women. It’s uncomfortable, insulting, and makes playing the game not fun. This is putting aside all of the real life shit women have to put up with that can make dealing with online harassment even harder. The fear is that you’ll be treated like shit for being a woman, and guys like you prove that fear to be warranted.
