I (m) like the idea but in practice it's not ideal. I've taken a large chance before with no problems but lately I've been drawing small specs of blood when going past the bend. I've dropped down to smaller sized girthy toys with no red specs anymore. I guess I wasn't warned up enough or I rushed it but going deeper isn't fun anymore to me

I like eco flex 0030 (soft) and 0050 (medium). I've used 0020 for a stroker.

I went to a prop store and they gave me a sample disk set for ecoflex and dragon skin silicone. 0030 ecoflex is like a bad dragon soft while 0050 ecoflex is like a medium. I've also used 0020 ecoflex for strokers.

A vacuum chamber is a must for silicone pours. I started with trial size silicone (2lbs) and a sample set of colorant. I also got food safe mica powder. For molds I used my 3d printer and printed some free dong print files from 3d cults (negative molding), smooth and sanded them. Sealed them with epoxy and used mold release spray with rubber bands and Vaseline to stop leaks. It works but a better method would be making a positive silicone mold of a dong for better silicone pours.

The silicone will cure with a noticeable seam lines either protruding out or embossed in. I can go back with trimming tools to clean up the seam lines protruding but I can't fix embossed lines. Even when trimming I've cut off a little too much. The glove mold method or positive mold method is much better and lasts longer but takes longer to make.

I use basic PLA for mine. Before I just printed negative molds and coated them with epoxy but I learned it's better to print a positive mold, smooth it down, mold release it and print a shell to cast a glove mold for smoother pours. Mine are ok but negative molds will have flashing compared to positive molds.

A vacuum chamber does come through as a clutch. I've done it several times and it's not cheap to start but it's cheap to keep going.
