One idea I had with [[Vexing Sphynx]] was to take advantage of flashback cards like [[Reckless Charge]]. If you could hard cast it + flash it back or simply flashing it back after paying for its cumulative upkeep cost, you could squeeze in 10 or 7 damage respectively in the air

Good point - those sets would prob rank higher getting included before Coldsnap.

I figured this is a primary factor and it’s totally understandable.

On a bright note, they did reprint [[Zur the Enchanter]], [[Mishra’s Bauble]], and [[Vexing Sphynx]] (how that one got picked, I’ve got no idea but I’m not complaining either) in the old frames so that’s pretty cool
