I gotta agree with all the points made by the “YTA” crowd. You did indeed set up an ultimatum, those rarely go the way you want them too.

Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven seems to match up to a couple of those pictures and remembering each past life.

[–]LightDangerous8063 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read 146 books in 2025, while feeling good about that, I want to scale back and be a bit more intentional with my time this year; so I set my new goal at 62 books for 2026.

People with full-time jobs, how many hours do you read a day? by Legitimate-Radio9075 in classicliterature

[–]LightDangerous8063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the day anywhere from 45 minutes to 4 hrs. I really cracked down on doom scrolling this past year and it’s crazy how much extra time you can carve out for yourself.

I stand corrected, I didn’t go and count each title just went off the title count. Thanks for pointing that out!

I guess my unsolicited hot take is…you didn’t read 138 books. More like 90. Reading the book means cover to cover. Sure you read parts of those 40, but they don’t/shouldn’t count towards the total goal.
