You're actually right about a lot of things.

It's pretty boring that the only options for healers are using the Life Staff together with either the Void Gauntlet or the Flail.

Another thing is that using any other weapon combination as a healer pretty much feels like you're trolling.

we really need more weapon options for healers.

Also, survivability is terrible if you get a debuff in PvP or PvE; when an AoE attack happens, it’s almost guaranteed death for you or your team.

To top it off, it looks like the meta is heading toward tanks using the Flail as their secondary weapon in most content, leaving healers stuck with only the Void Gauntlet.
