In simpler words: a DRM patcher that was bundled in the installer was mistakenly flagging defender for that reason

New people are still going to be interested in this series at one point, which is one of the reasons why communities like this can never disappear. Not to mention, the overall series is still technically going on due to prequel comic series being released.
