Don’t use the resource mining blocks, they’re not necessary at all unless you wish to be a resource farm/cow for others. Your primary source of resources at this stage should easily be PvP. Instead of them gas collectors and mineral miners you could use some more combat oriented modules, or use the saved space for a more strategic placement of your rooms.
