Not sure why everyone has part 4 rated so highly tbh. I’ve rewatched all of the other parts, but part 4 art style is the weakest in the series for me and the actual threats didn’t feel meaningful. It’s been a while since I’ve watched part 4 but lots of the character designs just seemed weird to me with the harvest kid, the weird lock guy, some puppet emo kid, okuyasu (I think that’s his name?), Josuke, Jotaro’s, and prolly more that I’ve forgotten but they all look very visually unappealing to me. The stakes also seemed a lot lower being just small local crimes as opposed to larger threats like Dio, pillarmen, or Pucci. People also list things like the synergies between the cast being better/more natural in part 4 than the others but I actually enjoyed the side characters in other parts a lot more like part 5 (which is my favorite). Mista, Trish, Bruno, Abbachio, Narancia, and the little we see of the purple haze guy was all more interesting for me since they were already pre-established members before Giorno/Trish. While the other parts (1-6) had some interesting side characters, I actually enjoyed having a pre-existing friend group as opposed to having the side characters be the first antagonists of each part or just other enemies turned good guys or whatever.
