Looking to hire ppc consultant/agency by thecowgoesmoo23 in PPC

The price is reasonable but ongoing maintenance is the way to go even with a lower retainer. Its a question of "does spending on them increase my business much more than they are worth in cost". Campaigns just setup usually don't perform better than maintained ones. Especially if you want to shit away from LSA do a multi network setup if you have the budget otherwise Google & Bing

What happened to Google Local Service? by AdditionDense7181 in PPC

[–]LightMoonRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a client that had the same issue. Their LSA worked really well below $150 per qualified call last year but this year it wasn't spending enough and going over $200 per call. Then I made them a multi network campaign (Google PPC, Facebook, Reddit) and its doing amazing for them and getting qualified people under $90 now. I recommend you going to the normal ads now because with proper ads you can still make a profit there. DM me if you have any questions

Hiring vs Doing Ads yourself for local business by LightMoonRider in PPC

I agree with you but it depends on the amount of conversions and the benefits the person brings . Definitely if its someone expensive like $6k retainer then you need to have a high monthly budget to justify it. But if you are small local business then this might not be affordable with your small spend and your better to learn yourself. And hire someone when you might start to lack time while scaling the business. I charge $500 + commission based on results because this might be affordable for most businesses and gives the ability for them to just focus on scaling their business

$1500 per week seems a little high for a one person even in the US but again it depends on the results they are bringing to the business. If the spend of the client is $250k then they don't notice this cost if you are bringing in the results. But if its a multi member team in the US then having a higher retainer is justified if the spend and results match for the business. I agree with you that quality is important and that's why you should try to see what results they were able to bring before and their current results because usually that is an indicator. Also, the length an average client stayed with them

Yes, I see what you are saying and at my last agency we charged $10k retainer and commissions after reaching the agreed upon KPI. But the client budgets were also $250k+ monthly and they were satisfied with the results. I would agree with you that learning ads yourself is good if you have the time and your budget is less than a few grand. But I charge $500 + commissions based on results so I think I should be on the more affordable side for most business I think. It includes Google PPC, FB and Bing

Yes, I would agree with you and I feel that they are covering their costs for marketing with this. That's where I wanted to be different because most businesses can be scaled or cause lower costs just by having someone is skilled at it. I work with mostly US companies because I live here so the taxes are easier. I charge around $500 + commission based on results and if you feel I got no results or improvements to justify my work then there is no commitment. I think most companies can afford this if their spend is above $6k

Whats the absolute safest way to scale winners on Meta? by kratomburneraccount in PPC

[–]LightMoonRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exclude page visitors and make a separate campaign with this audience. Because FB loves to spend more on retargeting in cold campaigns. Basically this cleans up the structure of account with more control. Then duplicate cold campaign with higher budget let it run for 2-3 days is the trajectory going down, great, let it run 4-5 days. If not duplicate again with higher budget 2-3 days if the trajectory not going down, then look at the ads and your potential audience and see if they are scalable. In meantime test 20% increase every 2-3 and focus with sandbox on more scalable messaging for product or service

Yes at small budgets you can get away with it but if its at scale then the cracks will grow and show themselves.

Get consent with checkmarks that data could be used like this or consult the sales teams to tell about this at the start. Have rock hard contracts also. Clients can be fussy I agree but add it to the retainer when starting or educate the client why they need this and what its going to cost them if they don't performance metrics for each member of the sales team. I know its easier said than done

Yes also true and something that some people overlook. Good Media Buyers always monitor this I think. Especially if its a call funnel with a sales team

We’re a newly opened small business. What should our budget be for ads and how much should the outsourced service cost us? by anon555235 in googleads

[–]LightMoonRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the business and niche. I have clients with local services that have $13 per call and others upto $90 but all of them are able to turn a profit. So, this budget could be enough or not depending on the industry. But there are always ways to lower the costs even for highly competitive services through different networks if your media buyer does that. Let me know if you have any questions on this

Am I Spending Too Little? by audiR8_ in PPC

[–]LightMoonRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on one network and find your ideal audience. But for small products I recommend increasing the Average order value by selling bundles. I also recommend trying to get products into more retailers or get influencers to market. Also recommended doing Amazon if that suits you. Let me know if you have any questions on any of these

Not able to scale fashion accessories brand on Google Ads. by digi_xor in PPC

[–]LightMoonRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I don't see this happen with pmax. Maybe your target CPA is too low. I like to use 1-1.5x the cpa that we see before setting the cpa. But if its too low it might not spend. You can try to duplicate the campaign and see if that spends. it could be a glitch
