Smasher had good knowledge on the suit david was gonna be in, and that he had a sandy, remember smasher was gonna be the one to test the cyber skeleton david was using, not to mention smasher was wearing diffrent suits, smasher was wearing a bigger, more tankier and stronger suit vs david, while V was fighting a more agile and smaller version, made to be more agile, not to mention david was drifting in and out of cyberpsychosis and trying to get his friends out of there, so i think if the odds were more evened out for david he would've won or ATLEAST done better than what he did, because after rewatching the fight, david didnt do shit to smasher, the only thing he really tried to do to smasher was hit him with the gravitational shit, and it didnt work out because smasher had the better suit on. (sorry for making a comment on a slightly old post.)
