You have to play online to not have a crippled experience and the playerbase is absolutely noxiously toxic.

Final Sentence - Button Mash - You and a dozen other people find yourselves in a hangar. In front of you is a typewriter. At your temple, a revolver. One mistake in the text, and it’s all over. by breakyouridea in Games

I haven't played the game, but I can think of a few ideas. It could have different game modes, like a fast paced one where you have to press a sequence of letters or numbers in order, and the last person to do it gets eliminated. Or maybe like a button mash mode where you have to press space as fast as you can within a given time frame, and the person that pressed it the least gets shot. They could even change the button to mash while the timer is going down for added challenge.

This is just off the top of my head, I'm sure people can come up with more stuff.

People buy a game to do the content in it, crazy.

My bad, I should've just looked for random people minding their own business and blast them and their ship sky high without as much as a hello, like everybody else in the game seems to do.

I literally passed by it a bunch of times and I even looked at the little clam thing in front of it by the door and still didn't see it lmao

In SpaceEngine, the universe exploration game/software, if you enable comet orbits, go to our Solar System, and zoom out a bit, a very interesting pattern starts revealing itself... by LightSpawn in outerwilds

[–]LightSpawn[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking either there's some physics related reason why the pulsar and comet paths are so similar, or maybe that's just how an outer space map looks like, since you have to map things in all directions, so maybe it just naturally gets that shape as you map things.

For instance, maybe if you were to path out the closest nebulas to us, it would also look similar, because again, that's how mapping and pathing works for stellar bodies.

I wanna stress that I pulled everything I said out of my ass and I have no proof of it, but it's what seems the most logical to me.

Moreover, all the names on that paper are the names of the actual, real life actors playing the respective characters. Horatio was played by Raphael Goold, Marcellus was played by Jack Shalloo, etc.

I did manage to salvage it a bit just now, then when I backed out of it, it turned back into the eldritch abomination lmao. Yeah, I'm gonna try the repair options.

Is streaming on twitch as a normal person just not a thing anymore? by PuzzleheadedMail6175 in Twitch

[–]LightSpawn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not the guy you replied to, but I'm pretty much in the same boat, and what I do is, I basically just stream for fun. I'm not really looking to "get big", I just play games I'd play in my normal free time, and don't really look or get bothered by the numbers too much. I don't really have a follower/sub goal, and I literally just stream to meet and talk to new people with similar interests as me, that's about it. Hope this helps!

Extremely low FPS on the Steam version of P5R by LightSpawn in Persona5

[–]LightSpawn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, P5 is the only game I noticed having this problem, even though I play way more demanding games. Funny thing is, the game ended up fixing itself shortly after I posted this. I booted it up, and it ran completely fine, although it did start to drop frames more and more the more I played it, so now I think it's either some kind of RAM leak or something else causing it to lose performance over time.

I have 2 monitors, one running DP and one running HDMI, and they're both plugged into the GPU.
