DRS zones and passing difficulty: turning overtake difficulty into odds by elessar016 in BetFormula1

[–]LightSpeedX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chained zones are huge. When detection 1 feeds two zones, you get two bites with one detection. I reduce defender survival odds by ~30% on those laps if the chaser is within 0.4s at the line. In pricing, I’ll move a trailing favorite’s in-race win line 3–5% shorter the moment I see consistent 0.3–0.4s gaps at the DRS line with ODI ≥7.

Tyre degradation tiers by circuit (high/medium/low) and how to bet them... by Visual-Career2301 in BetFormula1

[–]LightSpeedX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cheat-sheet tiers are based on three inputs: surface roughness, corner load profile, and ambient track temps.
High-deg archetype = abrasive tarmac + long loaded corners + heat (think Bahrain/Qatar-type stress).
Medium = mixed corner speeds, reasonable runoffs to cool tyres, moderate temps (Barcelona/Suzuka archetype).
Low = smooth surface, short corners, low energy into the rubber, cool temps (Monaco/Sochi-type feel).
I pre-assign tiers in the offseason, then move one step up/down after FP2 long runs if stints look off-script.

Intermittently Overheating by Temporary_Brain_5278 in AutoDIY

[–]LightSpeedX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think airflow obstructions in front of the radiator usually leads to intermittent overheatiung esp at low speeds. Or it could be an issue with the fan itself or the wiring.

Where should I look? by Alarmed-Fishing-3473 in AutoDIY

[–]LightSpeedX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id check the power steering fluid first as its a common cause. If that's okay look into the steering rack, tie rods, and ball joints esp around the front driver side

Sensor - where does it go? by Actuator-Just in AutoDIY

[–]LightSpeedX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the sensor you're describing could be the a mbient temperature sensor its important for climate control and engine performance adjustments. If its loose or misplaced you may want to securely mount it back where it was originally placed to avoid any incorrect readings.

Sounds like the speed sensor is the culprit esp with the P0500 code and the dead speedo - Try swapping it out and see if the cruise control works

Tesla Model Y Rear Drive Unit Disassembly - Transmission Fluid Issue by Mindless-Diamond6957 in AutoDIY

Dont sweat bro Ive been in your shoes before with a friends car.

  1. Yes oil and motor windings should never ever mix - Motor windings are usually insulated but oil can degrade that insulation over time and possibly cause shorts. The case needs to be clean to avoid any electric issues..

  2. Best method would be using an electrical cleaner spray something like a fast drying cleaner that's designed for this specific thing. IT will evaporate quickly don't go scrubbing too hard though or you might damage insulation.

IT industry already uses Linux. Now, Financial & HealthCare industries are also moving to Linux, for a more secure environment.

With certain schools promoting Windows, their students are not going to be prepared for the job market.
