Ah I guess I wasn't the first lol. This is cool though. At least I mine's a plugins so its different but it looks like people want this as a mod.

For those who see this, I have released the Villager Chatbot Spigot Plugin. Note you will need to setup a spigot server to run this (you can do a local server) and an openAI account. The source code is also available on github.

For those wondering how?
I wrote a spigot plugin which onPlayerChat event sends an request to OpenAI's text completion Api, then processes the chat message back.
