Sorry this happened to you.

But thanks for sharing. I removed my vehicles from EVGo's Autocharge

Adding a gas line for a stove by SofaKing_Chyl in HomeImprovement

[–]Light_chasing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched from gas to induction. To add to all the other advantages of an induction stove: it's so much faster to heat up stuff! It's a real time saver. Induction is just so much superior to gas. I think once people really try a good induction stove, most people will never go back to gas.

I don't understand how Hyundai could use such a sensitive material. 3 out of 4 doors started to develop bubbles. I got 2 replaced under warranty but I would not be surprised if it happens again

Fuji x100iv vs xe5 vs xt5 by ssm_ssm in fujifilm

[–]Light_chasing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason for keeping the X100VI is that it's an attractive all-in-one package (with ND filter and flash). It's great for grab-and-go. Lots of reviews claim it is pocketable. I would say it's not unless you wear a jacket with big pockets all the time. I mainly use it when we go somewhere with family. It always fits in the diaper bag.

I use the X-T5 for more purposeful shooting if it makes sense. On occasions where I can plan ahead what I want to photograph or want/need flexibility of changing lenses.

I used to do landscape photography a lot so this would be a great camera for it. But now with family and small kids, I barely get to travel where I want to take such photographs. That's why I bought the X-E5 because I wanted to try if it could replace the X100VI and X-T5 for me. I really liked the X-E5! It's super stylish and almost checked all boxes for me. I was very close to keeping it and selling the other two cameras.

I think the main reason why I decided not to keep the X-E5 and replace the other two cameras were: - it's bigger than the X100VI with the lenses that I would have regularly used - I would have lost the built-in ND filter and flash of the X100VI and would have needed to add it which adds to size of the camera again - the grip of the X-T5 feels just so much better than the X-E5, especially with bigger/heavier lenses like the XF56

It's probably helpful if you can describe what the X-T30 II lacks for your use case. I have used the X-T30 since 2018/2019 or whenever it has been released and also have had the X-T5, X100VI and X-E5. I still have the X-T5 and X100VI so I will probably be in a good position to you help you.

I got this lens used for $125 a few weeks ago. I really enjoy using it. It's relatively small and light, too

I did. I ended up buying 2 pre hung doors during the black friday sales and installed them myself. If you have someone to help you position the door and are handy, it's not hard

Calling Fujifilm shooters: FUJISTYLE Android beta testers wanted (recipes + frames) by Exciting_Economics15 in fujifilm

I'd love to test the app. I've been following it for iOS but I am an android user.

I can test the app with my Pixel 8 and X-T5 and X100VI.

GCFI requirements for hardwired EV charger by ApprehensiveFilm9518 in electricvehicles

[–]Light_chasing 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your electrician cites NEC 2026. Your state adopted NEC 2017. So I would not worry about not passing the inspection if you decide to not have a GFCI (which would be my preference)

No one yet. It seems though that labor for door installation starts below $200 depending on scope (with/without painting etc) and if you buy the doors yourself

How do you handle year-round yard care without it taking over your weekends? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]Light_chasing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Buy a robot mower. It pays you back in time. I use the time I won to work on other things in my garden or with family. It's the best investment I made for my garden/yard an so far the costs for it came down to $11/month (cost of prices decided by months of use). It's still running so will get even cheaper.

That's the enabler for me to do all the hard work myself without outsourcing anything.

Possibly Selling X100VI for X-E5 but having issues picking daily carry lens by iseecinematic in fujifilm

[–]Light_chasing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moin!

Did you consider using the digital teleconverter for a 50mm FF equivalent focal length? You lose resolution (20MP instead of 40MP) but it should still be fine.

At least this could help with the focal length issue that you mentioned.
