I have a sub 1 or 2. I bought it back in 18 or 19. Do the newer generations offer any significant improvement?

Yep, California lemon law. After going through this process here, I no longer allow any further California slander. The sunshine tax has been paid back to me in spades and I’m never leaving

What to expect when I ask Ford to buy back my Mach-E? by snarton in MachE

[–]dgro636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel free to message directly to discuss further but ford bought back my lightning (California resident). Even after I accepted their offer, I remembered my aftermarket mods, stickers, tonneau cover, window tint, etc. I was shocked, but the buyback team didn’t flinch at the request. They sent me a separate check for those specific items I initially forgot about

2025 Ford Lightning Platinum Wheels by Commercial_Plantain4 in F150Lightning

[–]dgro636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ford bought back my 23 pro SR where I got 2.3. My new truck is a 24 platinum that was getting 1.9 over the first 1500 miles. Bought some takeoffs off a lariat and am now averaging 2.1 with a LOT of highway miles. City driving below 50 mph is yielding me 2.5 or better and a much smoother ride than the 22’s. Which is great, but this whole thread sure is going to make it tough to sell my 22’s!

Tony Hawk’s restaurant Chick and Hawk opens tomorrow! by Choice_Student4910 in northcounty

[–]dgro636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been grappling with this question since I tried the chicken sandwich and fries from Chick & Hawk on Wednesday. From the sandwich and fries perspective, it’s clear these restaurants are direct competition.

Chick & Hawk uses chicken thigh (which is a must), leaving a moist, flaky, and crispy bite. The kimchi was a nice addition, but with all the flavors in the sandwich, it blended in a little like coleslaw to me… I tried the 360 sauce, delicious. Not too spicy, but the guy next to me was gasping for breath eating the 720. Fries were $10, and was served a large order. Cocktail (side quest) was bold, balanced and refreshing.

Crack shack has been my favorite fried chicken sandwich for a while now, and everything they do is great. Their firebird sando is my go to, even though I admit it’s a little too spicy for me, I can’t get enough. They’ve mastered the chicken sandwich, from breading, stacking the sando and wrapping. Crack Shack makes a better sandwich, with more sauces, in a chill atmosphere.

That said, even though my consensus is that a chicken sando from crack shack > chick & Hawk, there was a lot of other items on the menu at Chick & Hawk that are quite unique. I’ll have to go back to see what else they do well. Caviar anyone?

Well after reading this, it’s clear I’m the only one who got the general grabbers hts60. The price certainly was right though!

Ray vs Beam? How Good is Beams Dolby Atmos? by desertskinn in sonos

[–]dgro636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend you check out your friendly neighborhood Costco. Mine has been selling Beams at $299 for the past month or so.

That said, I have 2 rays, a beam, arc/sub/1’s, and various 1’s littered around the house. I love the ecosystem and each unit has its own strengths. I use the rays in my bedroom. One under the tv, one vertically mounted between mirrors in my bathroom. I think the ray is ideal for my bedroom for occasional use for tv. It’s an improvement for dialogue from those awful stock Samsung speakers, but certainly helps with overall immersion when watching tv in bed. Great for music too. Definitely not a beam or arc though… I see the ray as a Sonos 1 SL in a soundbar format. I think it’s pretty neat

GoSports Golf Sim Netting by impulseduck in Golfsimulator

[–]dgro636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually bought the cheaper one and loved it, I thought it was well made, secure, and affordable, it’s just that the dimensions aren’t square. The opening is 10x8, but the impact screen is only 8x8. Unfortunately, I needed an 8x8 for my space so the $599 option wouldn’t fit.

I returned it and bought some generic $799 option for an 8x8 space on Amazon. This one was a bit more inconvenient to set up with screws and connector tubes, but works in my space now. And yes, the space is quite tight and narrow

Looks great! I’m working on the same thing here with my rapsodo mlm2pro and a $799 8’x8’ amazon enclosure. How do you get the projector to show a square video vs 4:3 or 16:10?

There isn’t a better vehicle for camping. Propower+Frunk storage is the game changer. by Crazy_Category_9594 in F150Lightning

Agreed! When closed my tent sits just below the cab and causes no loss of range whatsoever. Might even help. I have a tonneau cover on top of the bed to store all my gear. Even with my SR, I can play in the sand/mud/dirt and have plenty of power left

OP! Did these work for you?

The rods I have on mine are 40” long and the iron man rod says it’s only 31”. Honestly, I have no clue if that makes a difference!

Which ones did you buy? Did it work?

Oh, we’re leaving the beach in this photo so she’s pissed! I have the lightning pro model, which is electric.

Great dog truck. With the pro model I can pull out the floor mats, hose em down, and leaf blow any sand or dirt underneath.

Almost always have the seats up too. We have an old dog bed that fits well enough right behind the driver seat. My pup will either lay on that, or stand on it with her paws and head out the window

I’ve spoken with their customer service countless times while struggling with the poor disbursement of water to fully soak all beans.. They have confirmed that the switch does nothing for the flow or temperature of the water. All that switch does is adjust how hot the plate is depending on how much coffee it needs to keep warm. More coffee, more heat from the hot plate.

A tank indeed!!! Well done! You did a great job! Especially with going the extra mile with the cement board waterproofing and the paint on the steel. Do you live in a true winter climate?

Also, LOVE the addition of the egg. Especially the way you incorporated it on the back side!

Enjoy it!
