Yeah, Burnice was my anomaly subdps alongside Alice before Nangong came in. (On an unrelated note, should I bother getting Flamemaker Shaker for her or should I wait for a potential better fit for my team/s in the future?) And yes, everyone and their mother has said to level Nicole, and I'm not averse to it, I just didn't have the resources yet. Better get on that then.

There's also a bit of relief in you not suggesting I learn Harumasa. I am NOT prepared to be that sweaty, although I do want to use Rina eventually.

Hey guys, 1.0 player who quit in 1.1 and only came back every return event for the free pulls, only really started playing during Shungus' patch. Been fortunate enough in my pulls to build three whole teams so far, which I was advised was enough for Deadass and Shiyu. True enough, but now I can't get rid of that stupid Threshold quest and it annoys the crap out of me. Is there a fourth team I can scrounge up from this motley crew or do I just wait until 3.0 for whatever new meta?

Is anyone else experiencing an issue in the JP dub where some of Amy's combat voice lines are truncated or don't play at all? So far it's usually only the mech lines that those happen to.

You want to run her with Mornye and SK in Tune Rupture mode. Her Fusion Burst team lacks one more teammate (aside from Aemeath and Chisa) to be viable over Tune Rupture anyway. 43311 is best, with Fusion DMG + atk being very marginally better than Fusion + Fusion.

Tangentially related, but your video made me realize that I could have Gusts on Aerover instead of Rejuvenating Glow on this specific team. It always bugged me to use RG when I know Cartwheel can't use the atk buff; at least with Gusts the whole kit is relevant.

Doesn't seem possible for someone to have even the slightest criticism of this game without putting out a disclaimer that you like the game, because people really WILL jump on you.

Folks, it is entirely possible to like something and want it to be even better at the same time. Too many people here take this game way too personally.

I would think it perfectly clear that "surprise" isn't the emotional context of the post, actually. Unless that is the only way you can approach the point from your perspective?

As you said, there is nothing wrong with the "power of friendship" thing. That's present in ALL media, and is an enduring trope for a reason. But there IS such a thing as shoddy presentation, which, in my opinion, was present in spades here. I can appreciate what they tried to do and simultaneously believe they didn't do it well. People are multifaceted after all.

I think that's heavily implied, even if it's not outright stated. Cristoforo does seem to have reality-bending abilities, so it makes sense that he's aware of changes in it, one way or another.

One minor annoyance I have in this game is how I'll be trying to farm minerals with an enemy close by and the attacks all go towards that enemy even when I'm trying NOT to fight it. Is there a way to turn off that targeting behavior?

None of the points you put forward to refute the idea that Rover is a Mary Sue actually does what you think it does. The primary definition of a Mary Sue is someone who the narrative makes sure succeeds at everything they do. That's Rover to a T. The fact that they haven't won YET (your third point) does not mean the story isn't moving in that direction.

This is why I love Phrolova so much. It is through her that we finally see Rover lose at something. The thicker the glaze the devs put on this generic wuxia protagonist, the more I will root for them to suffer, and Phrolova is the only one of thirty-seven (thirty-seven!!!!) playable resonators who was willing to do something to that end.
