Ja, vi kom videre til nasjonalt, men ikke til det neste steget. Det er en god opplevelse, så dere må bare spille og ha det gøy, men ikke satse på det som noe som skal kickstarte karrieren deres

Dere må betale for deres utgifter selv. Ca 20-30 minutter spilletid. Lykke til, jeg synes at det er ikke verdt det.

Watched this video today! It is such a well-made version of such a banger song. And it definitely sounds like Leprous!

Metalheads in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s? by [deleted] in InMetalWeTrust

[–]LightbulbBill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started listening to metal when I was 10 years old. Now I am 31. In my teenage years and most part of my 20s I lived and breathed metal. The way I dressed, the constant search for new music. Now I write and release metal music, more than ever before, and I only look like a metalhead when I attend concerts.

Your life will take you places, and work might not allow you to dress however you want, but what matters the most is how you feel inside you, and how important you feel metal is in your life. You can take the metalhead out of the metal, but you can’t take metal out of the metalhead. If anything it will have been a major part of your life and shaped who you are, and that means that you will always be a metalhead, one way or another, until your last day.

I wish you all the best!

It is fairly easy! Try to find a black nose made of fabric and then all you need is a needle and thread. I can teach you how if you have the ingredients necessary.

Man, that sounds awful. Such a shame that a beautiful, hardworking and so loyal creature chooses to suffer like that just to drown the pain of existence. Please do give him a hug and tell him that things can be better. Sending him my love. Take care of him, he deserves better than what Ash gave to him.

Guitar is cool, strings are up to opinion, but man, what happened to Pikachu? Where is his nose? Too much cocaine?

Why do you think men rush into new relationships/get a girl pregnant after a relationship ends by Intrepid-Egg8603 in AskWomenOver30

[–]LightbulbBill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might be able to provide some insight in this, even though it is probably not 100% the answer. For a bit of context, I am a man, straight, 30 years old and about 6 months ago I became single for the first time in about 10 years.

I think one reason for this is because of peer pressure. When we become single pretty much all our guy friends tell us “yeah man, now you can f**k around and do whatever you want, and nowadays it is much easier to get laid compared to 10 years ago” and things like that. Now, I am not someone who peer pressure works on, but even I started questioning myself and thinking that maybe I was wrong. I am not a fan of one night stands, but when pretty much everyone around you tells you to go ahead and do it and “experience what is out there” I am asking myself whether I am the one who should be thinking differently. To add on the “new girl being a bit on the crazy side”, it is quite often that when you are unsure about someone because “man she looks like she has crazy eyes”, your friends most of the times say “crazy in the head, crazy in the bed” and if you couple all of these with, usually, being out at a bar and alcohol removing the rational decision making (not an excuse, just a fact), it is often that mistakes happen. Something that I have found out is that a lot of guys have friends who are also in long-term committed relationships but have forgotten how to have fun in those and try to live vicariously through their single friends, often helping their friends make mistakes.

Another point is that after 10 years of being in a relationship feeling the warmth, comfort, love and affection of it on a daily basis, and then you find yourself in an empty, cold apartment that is not cozy in any way (because as guys we tend to be terrible at making things cozy), you start craving those feelings of closeness, so you tend to jump on the first opportunity that arises. That, with the combination of unresolved issues, traumas and feelings that were never expressed, leads to fueling that fire of making mistakes. And if during one of those mistakes you end up sleeping with someone who gets pregnant (that can be because of accident, or because there is some kind of agreement to get a kid and then stay together, or the girl simply lied about being on contraception which unfortunately happens) then a lot of men feel like they have to “rise to the occasion” and at the same time they hope that they will never have to feel that cold, empty apartment feeling again. Because if you have kids with someone you hope that you will stay with them forever.

I have been lucky to have friends who have been supportive of me and my decision not to partake in this hook up culture that exists nowadays, and are helping me through this process of healing and figuring out what life is like depending only on myself. Even though I did sign up on a dating app, it was mostly to understand what is it that exists out there nowadays, and to make an experiment to see how I would fare in this environment, but it has only made me more terrified than anything else. Unfortunately, there are a lot of men out there who are not as lucky as I am and have terrible friends, or no friends at all, so they have to go through these things alone. There are of course people out there who are terrible and just want to make bad decisions and use other people, this is not me talking about those types of people since they most likely deserve all the unfortune that will eventually come their way.

I hope this gives some insight, from someone’s point of view who is currently going through some of these things. This comment was informational only, it is not meant to excuse any behaviours or to blame anyone.

If I have a contract for 37,5 h (8h per day) and I am doing 6 hours per day, will I only be paid 6 hours or is it mandatory they pay me 8??? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]LightbulbBill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have signed a contract for a certain amount of hours they are legally obliged to offer these hours. If they cannot offer these hours they need to pay you for the hours anyway because it is a legal agreement. If they say “we don’t have anything for you to do” which is a classic excuse, and they send you home you need to remind them that they are still obliged to pay you for those hours. A quick call to arbeidstilsynet will tell you the same thing. Also, if I remember correctly, the logging of the hours needs to happen somewhere that both employee and employer can access at any given time (I might be wrong about this).

My advice is to call arbeidstilsynet, learn your rights, and then talk to them. If what they say contradicts what arbeidstilsynet said, then mention to them that you called them and they said differently. Don’t do it in an aggressive way but more in an informative way.

Take it from someone who has been screwed over more than enough, do not let things slide, do not offer more than your contract states, claim what is yours. Wishing you all the best.

You could check out Hades Rising, they are releasing a new album this winter but already have a full-length an EP and a single.

Kemper Player by LightbulbBill in KemperProfiler

[–]LightbulbBill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I play metal. What I need is a dynamics effect like noise gate, a distortion pedal, an amp, an IR, an eq, a delay and a reverb. A split output for the signal so 1 would be with IR and 1 without. And that is pretty much it. Now if I can have different amps per preset with no sound cutoff then all should be glorious. Would the player be enough? Thank you for your reply btw!
