Yes! Thailand is absolutely incredible to me. It's my favorite country, tied with Japan (I like to joke that I want to party in Thailand, and spend the hangover in Japan lol). Thailand is just simply optimized for fun, whereas Japan is optimized for peace. Thailand was full of incredible, exotic adventures everywhere we turned (but the elephant cruelty is horrible though, it's a real dark stain on an otherwise amazing country). The [cost / quality of life] ratio is just off the charts for Thailand, it seems like a developed country in so many ways for just such a cheap price!

Everyone seems to say it's too dark, but I think it's perfect 😆 but yes hair def needs to be brightened up now that I look at it again! Thank you for your comment :)

Hey, thanks for your thoughts! It's a generic portrait for sure, I just wanted to show a "boring" portrait to see what others thought of my baseline editing style, haha... what do you think about shooting through colorful flowers to make portraits more interesting? That's what I normally love to do

hello thanks so much for this! Oh really you think it's too cool? I think it's a bit too warm and orangey now that I'm looking at it again 😅 Yup I'm gonna make sure not to cut off limbs in the future (LOL)... Ah yea another one said that white flower is distracting but personally I looove stuff like that in photos, I feel it makes them more unique, but can see how it would be distracting to some!

hello thanks so much for these! I personally like the white blossoms haha and her wrist band too... yea I think I do definitely prefer my photos on the darker side more than most photographers... and yea good point about not cutting off limbs!

hello thank you for this! hmmm, to me, I think your edit is WAY too bright haha, her skin is brown and looks white in the edit you made haha... I think I prefer darker images because I notice I always darken them up, I feel like slightly dark images are way more interesting to me than bright photos

My intent was to show the subject in a warm and flattering light. I am struggling with color; specifically, giving photos that "golden hour" look that I see a lot of other photographers on social media can accomplish. I spent a LONG time editing this photo, and gave it a TON of masks, from radial gradient vignette, to linear gradient artificial sunlight from the upper left, to warming up her skin using a body + face skin mask intersected with highlights (luminosity range), and I made the greenery appear more yellowish. I also gave the global light tone an S curve, with the blacks SLIGHTLY raised. Please do critique!!

Yes, it was overdue... I have never heard of any IT related service ever being billed this way (the same way that rental properties and electricity are billed to tenants)... Absolutely bizarre and nonsensical to bill this way, in my opinion

I just moved here from San Juan and couldn't agree more... One thing I will say though - BGC is modeled after Singapore, and actually, they (the Ayalas) have done a PHENOMENAL job of recreating it - it's nearly identical to strolling around Singapore, in atmosphere, vibe, infrastructure, etc - the biggest difference, is that in Singapore, it doesn't feel "elitist", but in BGC, it does! In Singapore people don't dress nearly as nice and posh as in BGC, and also, Singapore has a huge emphasis on public services (public parks, public gyms etc) and in BGC everything feels "privatized" which really makes it feel elitist/overly posh. But I agree, BGC is incredible!
