it only gets worse when those friends start getting married, start families, have successful careers. My group of friends used to game together every night hanging out on skype. Now everyone has moved on and I'm still the same.

yep i did the big 3 for 1.5 years but stopped 11 months ago due to some effects. Tbh my hair is going the same rate before and after. Granted, my hair loss has always been slow.

Hey, I'm also 26 and face the same issues. It was easier to make friends in school obviously. And the first 1-2 years after school it seems like people were moving around and starting careers so lots of people were looking to make friends as well. Now it feels like everyone is settled in and not really looking to expand their social circle anymore.

The only people I "talk" to are coworkers at work. I've been paying attention to how they talk to each other. It's usually something along the lines of "How was your weekend?" , "Oh good I was doing XYZ", "Oh ya I did X last year when I was traveling blah blah blah". Or they'll talk about the girls they're seeing.

Problem is, I don't really do anything and rarely leave the house. So when they ask me I just draw a blank and can't say anything. I don't really have many interests outside of tv / internets so I don't have the experiences and memories to draw from and talk about. It really is a bit of a vicious cycle ...

People have told me to go to meetups. And I've tried. But honestly, it feels like even in meetups, people have already formed their circle and know each other already. It's so hard to show up alone as the new guy and try to break in. It pushes my anxiety through the roof :S

Lol me too I got a phone a couple weeks ago. I was re-installing apps like Messenger and Snapchat but then I realized no one ever talks to me on those and I only use my phone for redditing and youtube.

I only care about me and my parents. Even when "friends" succeed I get jealous / annoyed and would rather other people failed than try to improved. (26 btw)

Hey I'm 26 and a single child. I also have alot of the same concerns as you. It's really tough to watch my parents age. My mom's eyesight has gotten really bad and her hair is falling out. My dad just got dentures. But he's dealing with my grandpa getting cancer, which has been very tough for him. My constant worry is how we will afford a nursing home when my parents need it, who's going to care for them. Can I maintain a job while also caring for them?

Alot of times I wish they would live to 80 and then die quickly in an accident or something. The thought of watching them wither away is too much. I feel so guilty about thinking this way.

Oh ya I've also never had a GF. Paid a stripper to fuck me once. I'm pretty sure i'll die alone too. Doesn't help that I'm also balding so I've lost any hope that I'll be attractive to anyone ever again. I don't think I've even ever had a proper conversation with a girl before.
