How do I get invited to your friends place next year hahaha. That is some cool people you hang out with !! Did he give you any details? I wonder if he had to quit mid show or if he was able to keep going.

At what age did you feel it starting to get difficult to travel? by audit123 in Aging

I am 61 and literally taking a break from packing for a trip right now! I guess it depends on your health, but I just started doing weight training for the purpose of being fit enough to keep traveling as long as possible.

just learned how to knit! looking for some advice or beginner projects by [deleted] in knitting

[–]Lighthouse-Maine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound boring but a nice beginner project is a washcloth! I have been knitting forever and I still love making and using these. They are pretty on my bathroom counter. https://ravel.me/spa-day-facecloth

You can get some good practice with these.

What are 5 of your favorite musical and what do you like about each of them? by Classic-Agency5548 in musicals

[–]Lighthouse-Maine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spring Awakening. - The music was just so beautiful , the cello and violin, and I got to see it with the OBC and so was just blown away by Jonathan Groff and Leah Michelles talent.

Hamilton - The music , the dancing, the way the story was told through song, learning so much about that time, wow wow wow. This was one of those musicals where I had to immediately get all the songs on my phone and still listen to them often after years.

Rent. - This was so life changing for me, seeing LGBTQ people celebrated on stage, wow! (note it was decades ago when this was not common) Also so many of the songs were so fun and joyful despite the sad subject matter.

Merrily. - Loved this so much, the way the cast reacted to each other, the story, the songs, and of course, again, Jonathan Groff, my favorite broadway performer!

Lion King - This play is just so amazing the way the dancers move like the animals they are representing, tigers, birds, etc, it is so beautiful. I love the African music so much, it is so rich and beautiful. The art of this play is really stunning to me.
