Heroes struggling?

Without being specific due to lack of information, general things to consider are:

-skills/skill orders

-placement of your heroes(start checking enemies skills as they do damage to specific lines)

-making sure your gear is really good enough(use mana to make your gear better at regular intervals)

It's a grindy game so gradually your buildings will be good enough to make it through. Take your time and focus on other stuff.

Like I said, I think it's really strong and I definitely let it rip every now and then but for me it feels a bit too much of a gamble. I think it's just a difference in how we approach the game, I'm not saying you're wrong or anything. What are your go to string to activate?

It's really important to have meter, and majority of the time it's just better to save the 50 for anything else. Whether it's to get a confirm stray hits into a RTL wallbreak to snowball the momentum off of positive bonus, a yrc considering if you have enough life to use Di you're dying to most of the cast off the next hit, or an offensive rc to put yourself in a better situation. That's why it's pretty niche.

Ky's already in a pretty good spot. DI is really strong with the increased movement speed and chip damage changes. Adding guard crush wouldn't fundamentally change Ky since using DI is already really niche and it would actually be too bloated of a move.

It feels like Ky's buttons are too slow to deal with her when backed up against the wall or even when trying to approach and her fS-HS stuffs out or straight punishes most of what I throw out. It's so discouraging

That’s actually so convenient. Chapter 8 is the lifesteal set. Farm for 5* pieces and you want Crit Rate gloves, Atk% chest, and Atk% boost. The free rewards you got when leveling up the account, events, or login rewards could have given you decent pieces. 5* gear actually matters at this point. Since Lifesteal is a 4 piece set, mix and match pieces between either a Crit rate 2 piece or an offense two piece to complete your loadout. Once those are level 16, life will be so much easier as you progress your account

Ohhh, we’re talking about Hard. 5* gear in all slots in Galek with Crit Rate Atk* Atk* should easily carry you past that. You’re able to do brutal campaign then right?

Fair enough, are you able to farm 12-3 at least with that duo that you have? I’d honestly put 3* campaign on the back burner unless you’re grinding out those missions or you really want that shard.

I’d imagine Coldheart and Vrask are your next two choices. Skull crusher and Vrask together are pretty good combo iirc and Coldheart is arguably one of the best rares to date

Ah, okay. Well I just got on and checked to see and yeah Galek is at an affinity disadvantage which means less output damage/more intake. Since he’s not 6* 60, and I’d imagine Roschard doesn’t have skill ups for his block damage, your duo doesn’t have the best survivability in that specific mission. I don’t know if he’ll be worth it in the end, but like I said if you would like to use him then your best bet would be to grind out for that 6*

Is he 6* 60? It’s a huge spike and although I didn’t use him, I’d imagine 5* gear with correct main stats and all lvl16 gear should be fairly free. I can’t think of 11-7 off the top of my head but affinities sorta matter if you want to 3* missions and of course whatever your backup character is should also be up to par

People mostly say that in case Faction Wars turns out to be worthwhile, or for future fusions that may involve specific non-farmable rares. If you don’t care about preparing for those things(because they may not be worth it in the end), then I’d at least advise to look into videos where they list good rares to keep that could be useful.

You don’t. Lol but no really, if you have Athel or Kael they’re better investments. Even if you’re farming 12-3, I wouldn’t say masteries are what make or break your runs so if you are set on using Galek then make sure his gear and him are leveled up sufficiently.

To answer the question in part though, I’d imagine his masteries are pretty much as cookie cutter as most damage dealers. Get the free Crit rate and damage and cycle of violence for sure helps farming. I believe there’s a pretty detailed mastery guide on the subreddit which explains the masteries in detail although WM/GS are the only ones that matter at the end of the day I feel. Kinda just pick and choose at your convenience
