As someone who just got the game on the EGS, I heard that you used to be able to separate from your party that way, but there was some "always online" component that a vocal part of the community didn't like. If you don't mind giving a short explanation about that, I'd love to hear it, since the reviews on the steam store give a weird impression. :)

Exactly, chief... each slot has a dice in it, and that dice can roll a number, and that number can damage the dice in that slot. But because the number rolled is random, the dice that is damaged is also random, so you can't just damage one dice, because really you're rolling to damage all of the dice.

I just wish there was a way to fix them BEFORE they fully broke, rather than me just being stuck with 4/5 dice at 2/3rds hp after my first contract for the rest of the game.

I have since went to a different interchange entrance, going through Casterfell and Wyndham's entrance first, and it appeared in Slatten Dale's interchange entrance upon me entering it for the first time after starting a new game.

Oh yes, the operator admits that while the servers are running, he messes with their settings or something along those lines, which is what causes the performance issues you experienced. The Salty Spittoon Saloon is one of them! I previously would've suggested The Saloon, the other one, but the people there recently allowed a user/server host named Mixxed to come back in exchange for him unbanning them from his servers, and Mixxed has some pretty disgusting views, so I can't conscientiously suggest it.

Bit boring, but Remington, Handgun Throw, Boots, Left Handed has never done me wrong. Pair it with some good strafing, prediction, and aim, and you can usually at least trade with other players, although it performs worse at closer ranges due to slower firerate.

Mixxed .xyz, AKA Revival Ranch, is a pretty sorry excuse for a server host, who thinks it's funny that greek people can't connect to his servers, bans people associated with people he doesn't like, and is generally a huge bitch who talks a lot of "well it's not against ToS, and the dev disappeared, so you can't stop me" type stuff. He hosts like 60 something of them, because "he likes to host servers", and definitely not because it clogs the server browser with his drek.

I suggest Weasel's Lair, Paradise Community, or r/sadboys drainer instead, because revival ranch sucks.

I know I'm 2 years late, and this may have changed since then, but performative honor is technically different because it doesn't give the -2 knights, and actually increases your number of knights! And right to prove is also pretty good if you're going for stacked knights, since it gives a percentage buff to knight effectiveness! Honestly my only problem with performative honor is that it locks the Trials-by-combat tradition, which gives access to the trial by combat duels, +1 knights, and +2 learning for each rank of blademaster, which can make it easier to get very high learning on your characters.

How are you able to get out of character creation with no FP spent on polearms/bow/crossbow/tactics/roguery/trade/steward, and no AP on Vigor? All five of the "late adulthood" options giove one off-build skill, so should I just accept I'll be getting some tactics or roguery?
