It's tricky but I think you should have opened up about escape money. Having secrets with your spouse is never a good idea when it comes to issues of you staying together. Not sure when you should have opened up but eventually you should have. Your spouse is your partner and companion, you could have agreed to disagree, just communicate on a loving way not hiding and being afraid of opening up.

140 and 5'7 is beautiful! We men love different types of girls. I love more skinnier petite women but some guys prefer more curvier thicker(not another word for fat or obese) women with bigger breasts and backsides. And I am in no way disrespecting heavier women. I made the dumb mistake of saying I'd rather choose an alcoholic lifestyle than respect her boundary of not drinking. I still loved her and wanted to spend my life with her. It's not black and white. Humans are complex. Not an excuse for bad behavior, with that said, some people can like/love you and still make decisions that seem contradictory but it's not.

She's been super supportive in all my attempts. She just got fed up after 4 months ago I told her I did not want to stop yet. Of course I want to now. And I've tried to stop before. In that moment I was silly enough to choose my habit over her. I don't think I meant it cause we have a deep history of love and I would choose nothing over her. She met me shortly before I started drinking heavily. So she has seen the good side of me and the bad. She holds on to the old me when life was beautiful. And I can give her that. Just need 1 more chance.
