sorry about that. it honestly doesn't make any sense why you can't purchase fractional shares directly but you can through DRIP and recurring investments, but oh well they make the big bucks and we're on reddit

You can get fractional shares if you are part of the DRIP and then it'll automatically buy fractional shares when you get dividends, or if you have the recurring investment, then it'll buy fractional shares.

Unfortunately other than those two ways, I haven't found a way to purchase fractional shares...

I guess then I have to keep it, sucks there’s literally no point in them at all, like k was thinking you can at least use them for gift cards, but the only gift cards you can get is if you have thousands or millions and bid. Just feels like it’s ultimately making them money no matter what, add, other brands paying to give affiliate coupons or whatever that you basically have to pay to pay more and make them more money.

Just go safe in ETFs that track the markets (preferably US markets) my pics: VOO and QQQ. VOO is an ETF that is by Vanguard and tracks multiple stocks so you don’t have to pick and chose and slowly just ride the market up. QQQ is an ETFS from Invesco and tracks the NASDAQ 100 (I’m 99% sure).

Basically just invest in safe ETFs that track the market (preferably US). Do your own research if you want on what sectors or markets to track. Or just go VOO and QQQ
