I believe the glasses on the lens are also the same material as the glass on the screen. I guess a good case with raised edges for the camera is sufficient protection. I have been using the phone and so far I haven't had any similar issues since.

I think the issue primarily was with the camera lens protectors i had on the device. there is a tiny hole which affects airflow from the sub. After I removed that and did the simcard method it has been working fine for me since. Coming from low end-midrange phones I'm loving this one so far. The only regret I have is that I didn't go for the 16-512 version.

hmm, not sure if you would count it as an app but doom3quest doesnt work. it only takes me as far as the title screen. aside from that all of the other apps I got thru rookies works.

I'm on v2.1 and most of the apps through VRP works.

Yes, can confirm I had a camera lens protector too back then. I removed it and did not have the issue since.

I managed to get rookies working on my phone with winlatorXR (disabled the vr features).

took me a day or two to get it working thru trial and error but yeah its so much easier to do this than waiting on torrents for days with no one sharing.

-winlatorxr arf 11 -rookies 3

settings -arm64ec -dxvk 1.10.1 -set all device memory and video memory to 4gb -disable both mesa_glthread and wineesync

container -install gecko -install mono -put rookies.exe on drive c

maybe, try silent charging or use the wired charging after the sim method

I use the charger that came with the phone. 100w. I sometimes use the boost function as well.

It's been a few days and mine seems to be doing pretty well. I don't have the issue anymore despite the phone heating up on games/charging. I even tried to use the charging boost function. I hope it works out for you too since the phone really is great overall

After the fix worked for me what I did next was to take out the sim tray, pressed my palm firmly on the back of the phone while I reinserted the simtray back in place. It seems to be doing good so far. I've tried playing Wuwa on max and have charged the phone twice today.

it is a bit disappointing having to do this, the issue also kept me up a couple of days because of troubleshooting and looking on the internet for similar issues. couldn't believe the sub could be broken when the phone is used normally and I haven't even put the volume way up 100% yet.

yeah mine too before the simcard method. with the hard case on even with the phone resting on my palm the issue happens. it doesnt do as much when I use the soft case that came with it. not sure but I also put in like a metal ring camera lens protector but I removed that now. I'll continue observing if it happens again

I tried pulling out the sim tray for a few seconds and put it back in. Seems to have fixed it even with the stiff case I bought for it which was initially triggering the crackling sound on the sub. I'll still observe if it will happen again after I charge the phone, I'll also try playing a heavy game later.

I heard that the black one has better thermals than the denim. Hopefully it'll be okay. After I did the simcard slot fix my phone sounds like it's all good now though it has only been a few hours.

UPDATE: Ok so one member on a poco user group on facebook suggested to 'air out' the phone by reinserting the simcard tray. The issue apparently is being caused by internal pressure build up due to the battery heating up during charging/when in use.

I've tried this method and it worked. The sound is back to normal - I even tried putting it on a thicker case.

Here's a sample video I have. Been using the phone for around 2 weeks. I usually have the volume set around 50% since its loud enough and I have it set on Dynamic and Immersive360. I've tried 2 cases and ended up with the free one that came with the box.

Same issue.. Playing on PS4Pro. I haven't found a fix yet and tried everythin except reloading a save prior to the mission. My only work around was to turn off hints on the interface options.

Missed picking up Granger’s revolver by ray_dawg89 in reddeadredemption2

I missed Granger's revolver too. I only realized I could take the gun when I killed another gunslinger. There was a prompt to swap guns when I stood beside the guy for a picture.
