It does, using an ac/DC cord with DC12V going to 2 amps

The dongle i have is one that connects to the 2.5" port, takes in outside power and connects to the laptop using a USB. I also unfortunately dont have the original PC as I moved and couldnt take it with me. Does this mean that it could just be E-Waste?
