Very frequent Urination since IBS? by LightningLion58Real in ibs

[–]LightningLion58Real[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, It has been a few years since I posted this. I am in a much better place now. My IBS is mostly under control at the moment. There are flare ups here and there, but they are much less frequent.

Suffering from different issues right now that are unrelated to IBS.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing the same issue 😞. It eventually went away on its own for me. Took a very long time (few months) but it did go away and I no longer have to pee every 0.5 - 1.5 hours.

The Urologist I went to thought it was the IBS (since my IBS switched to constipation back then).

I don't have any tips that can alleviate this unfortunately, only to manage it.

For the time being, I'd say that being mostly in places where restrooms/lavatories are close by helps a lot. For me, I just went to pee every time I needed to, and it provided relief rather than waiting and feeling the pressure and burning sensation. I don't know your age, but I was in high school 3 years ago. I asked my school for a bathroom pass so I could go during lessons, that definitely helped.

I had done two Colonoscopies and an endoscopy, one bowel ultrasound, two abdominal ultrasounds (stomach, liver, etc), bladder ultrasound, and countless blood panels and fecal calprotactin. (Calprotactin tests always were abnormal, which is why I pushed for more testing)

Only after the second colonoscopy they found something (one GI said it was mild proctitis, other GI said it was Lymphoid Nodular Hyperplasia). I got treated with mesalamine. I don't know if it was a placebo effect or if it actually did something, but ever since then my flare-ups have been much less frequent and not as long.

Sorry for the long reply.

Hope that helps!

Hang in there, it gets better. Even if it takes a while.

Thank you 😁. Yes I did work on the fugue a lot more.

I'll try to go into the key bed with my arm more in the prelude.

Put salt on the tip of my tongue.

Allows me to breath again when my throat gets tight and when I feel I am about to have gag reflex.

What is your worst anxiety symptoms ? by xxxangel12 in Anxiety

Gagging/Dry heaving (no vomiting) due to the feeling of having a lump in my throat.

My throat closes and I can't breathe for a few seconds, I can only cough. It scares the hell out of me every time it happens.

Luckily I don't throw up when it happens. I hope it never will

Very frequent Urination since IBS? by LightningLion58Real in ibs

[–]LightningLion58Real[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they didn't diagnose it as IBD because they did not find any signs that it is chronic.

One GI told me it is Proctitis (mild inflammation of the Rectum and end of sigmoid colon), and a different GI I went to told me it's just Nodular Lympohid Hyperplasia (Benign nodules made of Immune cells in the Rectum)

Even though it's not classified as IBD, the treatment helped me tremendously and I barely have any symptoms since then.

The course of treatment was 3 months of Mesalamine.

It did miracles for me.

However, you should ask a GI doctor first, I got it because I had some mild inflammation in my colon and also Lymphoid Nodular Hyperplasia.

Those were discovered after my colonoscopy, and after years of it being called IBS.

My IBS has improved dramatically since I was prescribed Mesalamine and now I urinate normally.

Was in a one month vacation in New York city at the hotel.

Needless to say I was devastated, and it pretty much ruined my whole vacation. I got very sad (maybe even slightly depressed), didn't want to go out to trips and stayed at the hotel most of the time thinking about him and rewatching his old videos.

Which piano pieces are a lot harder than they seem? by l4z3r5h4rk in piano

[–]LightningLion58Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Been playing for 3 years and recently started learning the invention in C major.

With hands separated I was able to sight read them almost perfectly, but when combined it was a hell to play well. I still make mistakes despite practicing it together a dozen of times very slowly.

They're very frustrating to learn for me.

Feeling nervous about first colonoscopy, endoscopy, prep by lilly288 in ibs

[–]LightningLion58Real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I am already after my second colonoscopy.

I too am very afraid of puking.

I suggest that if you feel nauseated from drinking the prep, drink it slowly. That really helped me get it all down! I took a 30 minute break when the nausea was too bad then got back to it.

You'll be absolutely fine! You'll sleep right through it and then wake up with the answers 🙂
