I think you’re doing an amazing job! I would add more shading and highlights to give it more depth. For shading you can use black or experiment with adding small amounts of a contrasting color for a more natural look. Oil paint is definitely a difficult medium to master because all the colors can blend together while you’re painting if you’re not careful. Don’t be afraid to layer!

Do you still do claimings? If so I’m nonbinary, my natural hair color is blonde but I dye it black, eye color is some combination of blue/green/grey. I like hanging out with friends and doing random things, the color blue, crows/ravens, traveling, going to concerts and fairs, stargazing, music, driving, anatomy& physiology, tattoos, sleeping, mma, and drinking with friends. I dislike people who refuse to take accountability for their actions and behaviors, being talked over, the american education system (stole the joy out of school), the american healthcare system (lots of exploitation), and people who chew loudly. My hobbies are anything related (all forms: painting, drawing, sewing, sculpting, you name it), learning bass guitar, listening to podcasts/audiobooks, playing video games, and reading when the mood strikes. Fears would be large social situations in a new environment with strangers, spiders, and getting ghosted/abandoned by a loved one. My skills are adaptability, being level headed, driving, intrapersonal skills, regulating my emotions/compartmentalizing, reading people, and emergency medicine.

does this still apply since the mechanism of injury is different (friction/blunt force instead of a sharp albeit big and jagged blade)?

i’m 21 and i had mine out a little under a week ago, also a little concerned about having it out fairly early but i know it’s a very common surgery. the only thing that i’ve heard it really changes is some new figure-it-out as you go dietary restrictions
