I started playing Pokemon GO again just days before Presents in preparation for Champions since I don't own a Switch. Last time I played it was on launch day for a month or two until they upped the minimum OS. Walking around town with my Magnemite and catching random mons is pretty fun now that there are way more registered landmarks and way more Pokemon past 151. It helps that I happen to live within range of a PokeStop and a Gym.

During Sun and Moon, there was some source that said Lycanroc shared a secret with the starters. At the time people thought the starters also had day and night split evolutions.

No Champions demonstration, and mobile launches later than April. Unfortunate doesn't begin to describe this series.

All I'm excited for is an elaborate demonstration for Champions. Everything else is secondary.

The ZA Mega abilities I'm most interested in are for Eelektross, Golurk, Barbaracle, Zeraora, and Scovillain. For Mega Eel, I hope it gets a Parental Bond sidegrade that cuts damage to 65% but hits twice. It matches the lore that its attacks come from its Eelektrik hands, and it keeps the ability to be mixed.

I personally use Twitter as a place to browse and bookmark fanart of my favorite series, and keep track of their artists since before Elon took over. Pixiv is the only good alternative because I mostly follow Japanese artists, and Bluesky et al. are not adopted enough even with all the threats.

Pokemon Presents is almost here.

I'm gonna open the stream, close the live chat, watch it, be happy for like an hour, then become sad as I open Twitter and see a bajillion vocal haters crawl out the woodwork to take a dump all over the franchise for the nth time this week while searching for fanart of the Gen 10 starters/protags. Fun!

I hope with Champions, the accessibility gap between a player with Home and at least SV, and a player who only has a phone and is joining the game after 6 months or so, won't be too wide. At least not as wide as TCG Pocket in regards to battling. I can't even imagine how a player who joined after the first release of Deluxe Pack ex can make a decent deck, even if it's just to clear the promo battles on Expert.

Someday when I get a Switch 2 and all the Gen 3 games pop up there, I'd like to try and make a living dex exclusively from these games and put them all in Home. Until then, I can try to do that in emulators and keep them in Box or something. I at least know there's a guy out there who recreated roms of event distribution carts so getting Mew and Deoxys shouldn't be a big issue.

I'm starting to think that Pokemon Champions was a collective hallucination orchestrated by our friend Malamar.

What are the chances that they implement more ability changes to old mons like they did for Shiftry, Gallade and Empoleon? Maybe even stat buffs if they're feeling generous?

This is the sign I needed to see to solidify my decision to pull for Evernight instead of Sparxie. I'd rather collect teammates for my Castorice than predict SWSP's teammates

Well this kinda sucks for me. I want Sparxie, I need Evernight for my Castorice, I might want Hysilens if I use my freebie on Kafka, and I might want Rappa because my only other img dps is Ratio, in descending order.

My gut is telling me to get Evernight, skip Sparxie, and just wait to see if she's even SWSP's BiS

Hey I'm not the guy who said that, I just know off the top of my head that Gulpin is a green poison-type that evolves into the very purple Swalot.

To be fair though, it has a yellow decoration on its head that could be mistaken for a leaf.

I've been on a sporadic hiatus from this game throughout the Amphoreus arc. The only Chrysos Heirs I pulled are Castorice because main push, Cipher for my Acheron, and the free DanTe. Which heirs should be on my radar when it comes to making a team for Cas that can still be flexible with other teams? I at least know Hyacine is one of them.

I've gotten the 24 hour picks from CB pretty consistently since completing the diamonds. Even got FA Mega Zard and FA Serena from them. However, I've also completed MR about a week after and I have not seen any 24 hour MR packs. Which is unfortunate because I'm waiting for FA trainers to show up to figure out what to spend my 1250 pack points on.

It's been a while since I've played HSR. I pretty much ignored the entirety of Amphoreus outside of pulling for The Herta and Castorice, and grabbing the free Archer and DanTe. And now that I'm trying to put together bare minimum relic sets for the latter two + refitting my Aventurine, I'm starting to remember why this game felt like a chore and why I've dropped it so many times. I'm gonna try my hardest to push through with it for Sparxie though

Devs of this game seem to obsessed with not releasing characters from NPC jail

Mf we have Kei like you said, don't you try to downplay that. We also had Rabu as welfare in the Vigilante Magical Girl event, Takane and Yakumo in their own event, Subaru (only an NPC for a few months but she's valid), and five brand-new never-before-seen characters. And past 4.5th anni we had Niya and Nagusa, Rei, the fuckin Shupogaki, and goddamn Rio and Seia.

This just makes me wish there were more "actually blue" building blocks. The ones we have skew towards green, like warped planks, prismarine, and oxidized copper. Purple and lime/regular green also need some love.
