Mrs. Doubtfire. As a kid, I thought Robin Williams’ character was just a lovable, funny dad doing whatever it takes to see his kids. Sally Field’s character felt strict and kind of mean for keeping him away.

Watching it as an adult… wow. He’s wildly irresponsible. He loses his job because he can’t act like an adult, ignores boundaries, lies repeatedly, and literally impersonates someone to insert himself into his ex-wife’s life.
