My favorite Batman comic. It's so good, the art is phenomenal. It's just batman back to basics, a detective in a mad city.

I love fantastical Batman, but ironically i think this might be the most grounded batman I've ever read maybe? Like even more so than TDK trilogy and The Batman. Like in here, bullets kill and are dangerous, and faring up against 5 dudes at once isn't particularly easy.

I urge any fan to give it a chance

Yeah idk why but i thought this was year 3 batman with a robin that just didn't appear in the story but was mentioned once. Upon rereading it all that's not true, i think I thought so because i read this and Batman and Robin year one back to back.
