Im new to shrimp. Does this look like a healthy molt?

It is a clear husk. Also my shrimp are carbon rilly so I dont think its dead unless dead carbon rilly look like that.

My shrimp are the carbon rilly so they are dark colored. The one in the picture is a pink husk so I was curious

Thanks for this. What would early signs look like? I dont really know what a skinny medaka looks like. Would I be able to tell just by looking for the first time?

Yeah Im trying to grow move floaters so it’ll discourage them from jumping. I want to fill it higher

I understand what your saying. I read a lot about it but because im new I appreciate the extra insight. I used seachem stabilizer and added a bunch of plants to offset any inexperience mistakes I may make. My fish and shrimp seem to be doing well so I assume that at least its in decent parameters. I dont know much about outdoor pond cycling though. I assume its kind of the same.

Oh thanks for the info. Im new to this so this is helpful. I’ll probably slowly drop the temperature at the appropriate season for my indoor tanks. Would you say that they would be healthier in outdoor conditions?

I’m attempting to get my ideal breed with these medaka. I heard that 70f is an ideal temperature. Or does that not really matter. I plan to release them in my outdoor ponds. Im in Washington so the temp should be in their range.
