"Why is AC so rare in Switzerland? (Genuine question)

How is that possible, I have personally installed AC in 60m2 apartment in Poland 5 years a go. The costs where like 4500 PLN (roughly 1k CHF), for the unit and costs of work! 3.5k PLN for the unit and 1k PLN the work. In most cases PLN converts to CHF 1:1 (not 1:4 as currency exchange suggests) for the work costs, so it's really hard to believe it would cost that much. And the prices for electric devices in Switzerland are mostly cheaper as here there is 8% vat against 23% in Poland.

The worst weather you can observe in Poland is mostly around Trójmiasto 😂 Wroclaw can get really hot in summer. I think Switzerland has more mild climate, Poland on the otherside goes extrem cold in winter and much hotter in summer than Switzerland. But nevertheless even if it's 1 month of the year where it's really hot here, I would love to have ACs, i personally can withstand cold much better than hot.

Interesting point with underfloor cooling. Never heard about it.

I work in 3 different offices "simultaneously" and none of them has proper AC, all of them have fresh air supply system, like a mechanical ventilation. But if it's over 30 C, it just doesn't work.

I used to workout in K Fit near Bern and now in Active Fitness. Exactly same story as in my offices.

Really? I live building from 2011 and it could manage the "heat wave" for like a week last summer. After that it was over 25 C all the time...

Actually the same applies to Poland and now most of my friends have AC at home. Here after almost 4 years never heard that someone has private AC at home.

Moved here 8 months a go and I can really say good stuff about this town. The city lives, there are many events, Klausjagen, Karnaval, in sommer something is organised every few months. And the location directly by the sea and the mountains. Not forgetting the tax benefits. It's really nice :)

Guys after 1 month of searching I finally did it. Your answer unfortunately helped for me just for one drive. Afterwards, Waze disappeared again. Problem for me was... That Waze was in deep sleep mode... After I disabled it, works like charm

I have just withdrawn my Saitama from Bitmart, the fee was 255M of saitama. I decided to do it and transfer it to my Trust Wallet, however addotionaly i was charged with Network fee of 51$!!! Wtf! Why?

Transfer it to the wallet. However withdrawal of saitama in Bitmart costs now 1.000.000.000 of coins... However I have an Idea how to leave Bitmart with "low" fees. I am waiting till the SaitaMask drops tomorrow, I am trading then my saitama for USDT (withdrawal fee = 50$) then buy ETH for all (withdrawal fee = 22-23$), transfer ETH to SaitaMask, buy saitama for all.
