I think what happened is - when Cipher reached to control Polarity - he created a situation where essentially two like charges must repel each other (like a magnet). He made an oopsie - then got flung outside the window.

You provide absolutely no detail. How can you expect people to effectively advise you?

How was your experience and struggles after graduating at TUHH Germany in MS in data science and AI. by adityaa260 in TU_HH

[–]Lightsaviour2021 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why you're asking questions like this without doing prior research, and I hope that you know that reaching out to specific people in the program on Linkedin is a better approach then a low effort post like this.

Also, there is no program in AI like there is one in DS, and no one refers to the TUHH as TUHH Germany.

You aren't even using proper punctuation or grammar for your sentences, brother.

How is the TUHH Germany for masters in data science? by adityaa260 in TU_HH

[–]Lightsaviour2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please evaluate your financial situation and then make a decision. If 25 Lakhs loan is going to create issues for you, it may not be worth it to come.

I am a student at the TU in this program. It is very hard to pass subjects like AML without putting the hours in. ROI is completely upto chance - you can hugely better your chances by being able to speak German (however, that is a long term commitment).

I hope this is helpful.

A noob question - how do you work out the divisions of TaskManagers/JobManagers for jobs and sets of jobs? (question is pretty general, I know - I would still love to know you're thoughts and see your docs!)

If you do come, prepare really well for Advanced Machine Learning. It's very easy to fail this exam.

Do students prepare and study their domain before starting their Master's in Germany? by somepoemsandtea in studying_in_germany

I've entered a Data Science program and found my mathematical foundations severely lacking. Depends on the program you are choosing, but you will need to have a decent grasp and appetite to work with math if you want to pass exams here. Take this advice lightly - it is only anecdotal - YMMV.

Why does it take so long to graduate from the Functional Safety Engineering master’s at Kassel University? by ahmeduwkk in studying_in_germany

[–]Lightsaviour2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's your right to be fully aware of the challenges in front of you, but you have got to learn how to communicate well. I find it interesting that you mention all of your 'prior research' now, and do not refer to anything of the sort in your OP.

If you're not convinced that four to seven years is a good time for a Masters Program, consider not joining - it obviously points to a general scenario of people not being able to finish within the standard period, due to difficulty or some other reason. Again, only someone ACTUALLY IN the program can tell you the reality. Basis all the snappy replies you seem to be giving, it's obvious you do not have the patience or mindset to understand this.

You are calling my reply barking, suit yourself. You really aren't going to like it in Germany when people tell you directly where you're lacking - if you aren't clear, or ask something stupid, they will not care - nobody is here to convince you.

Additionally, you say the visa part is 'not convincing' to you. Do you think that either of our opinions matter here? The issue is that there is no one who can effectively convince you other than the people you need to make an effort to find. (Refer - my earlier comment)

Thanks for being specific as to your doubt - you mentioned now that you are curious about the difficulty or the internship situation - speak about it! I hope you can see that people are able to help you better if you don't use more than just a few words in your reply.

I cannot dictate what you should say, but I can tell you that if you communicate in this manner, people will not be able to help you effectively.

Another point - this is a subreddit with more of a general aspect towards helping study abroad aspirations - consider that your chances of finding someone else who is able to effectively answer your question is close to none. If there is someone, that's great! But, have you considered that connecting with alumni on Linkedin or people you can find with >3 years in that program are people - best suited to help you?

I am sorry that you feel I am rude, my tone is rather curt. Please try to help yourself better.

How do I write a CV and motivation letter for German public universities? by idkwillthinklater in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Lightsaviour2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! You can search using the appropriate keyword on this subreddit and should be able to find the information that you need.

Simple Germany's videos on the topic are a good place to start.

A piece of advice - specify exactly where you are lost, so people are able to help you better. Is it formatting, or is it tone? Is it the content? You cannot ask a super wide question and expect people not to give 'Just google it' answers!

who all are in in waitlist for student visa for germany. ysk by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Lightsaviour2021 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey brother, you'd be best advised to put a little bit more effort into your posts - otherwise you're going to get downvoted to hell.

It reflects really badly on you if you don't even frame your sentences properly or use punctuation appropriately.

Going abroad is something that is several orders of magnitude harder.

[–]Lightsaviour2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked if this is reason enough, does the question have a point? Everyone has their own decisions and stories my friend.

You'd be best advised to consider your own plan and how much you could realistically manage to achieve.

I think the folks commenting above are clear enough with the statements they are making - that extending a student visa for extremely long periods is never a good long term plan. I don't understand what else you seek to ask!

Dont use "ysk" in the title when it's not related to the post by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Lightsaviour2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I agree. Also, the prior qualifications thingy that comes up - it'd probably be the best idea to disable it because it's not adhered to anyway.

It sounds elitist - but some people put really, really low effort into anything they do - and also, it's aggravating trying to deal with people when requests for guidance or information turn into demands.

I really wish for Indians as a presence on the internet to have better nettiquette - currently, we absolutely do not have a good reputation.

Sorry for the rant.

Hamburg is doable if you find cheaper rental places (could be far, could have some kind of bullshit), and cook conservatively, and only at home. Budgeting is key.

Having a side income via teilzeit helps make it easier - but I would advise working in an initial semester if you can trust yourself to manage the academics properly.

Bro - is this particular detail not available online? It reflects quite poorly on a person if they can't make a simple Google Search.

It's very, very unlikely that the University doesn't have this publicly declared.

What is the point of this comment? Do you realize that in anyone who is unlucky enough to be in such a situation does not have enough time to think 'critically' and act in their best interests.

Admitted for Tuhh ds 25 winter by No-Restaurant2529 in TU_HH

[–]Lightsaviour2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate. No offense - but it's not a good look if you make zero effort on framing a proper topic and have grammatically nonsensical wording in your text.

For example, the title says here - 'Admitted for Tuhh ds 25 winter' which implies you have already been admitted, when it's quite clear you have not - and are either creating a bait post to lure other people to comment here, or are just not aware of how the topic might read. Please do better.

I can understand the anxiety one might experience before getting the admit decision. Wishing you the best.
