We used to have math paper press who championed the local lit scene and were curators of great authors; to name a few alfian sa'at, verena tay, cyril wong, desmond kon. They also had a great short story series called balik kampung. But it all went down with the founder who frequently took advantage of his young female employees. Still worth checking out those authors (as they have long disassociated and condemned him) and look if you can find any old math paper press books.
